am going on a cruise for the first time. should i book a balcony room overlooking central park or balcony room with an ocean view?

Central park balcony's give a very quiet view of the park area, lots of noise and activities going on with a boardwalk balcony, there are a handful of boardwalk cabins on deck 9-14 at the rear of the ship that still have a peak a boo view of the ocean as well as a good viewing spot for the water show. If you are going with a family there are several Central park balcony's with a double wide balcony that your TA should know about. On Oasis class ships there is no charge for breakfast at Johnny Rockets before 10:30. Also make ALL your show reservation well before sail date.. happy cruising

We did not like our inside cabin with a window overlooking the enclosed promenade at all. There are other cabins across from you can look into and they can look into your cabin too. There was no privacy, kept curtain closed most of the time so it was like a true inside cabin with no window.

Get a cabin with an ocean view! No one can see you or inside your cabin!

It really depends on two items: cost, and what you really like to see.

Cost is obvious-

If you want to see the ocean all the time- like we do... book the ocean view.

If it's people watching, remember, you can people watch all the time while on deck. Do you prefer the "city" life, or nature???

Consider carefully-
