BBMacLaird Posted December 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2016 In 2018 we’re making a 102-day World Journey from Sydney to London, sailing from one iconic bridge to another. In anticipation, we’ve compiled a list of the 16 most beautiful and iconic bridges in the world. https://www.azamaraclubcruises.com/blog/16-most-iconic-bridges-world How many have you visited? I've only seen half...it must be time to travel!

Rare uktog Posted December 5, 2016 #5 Share Posted December 5, 2016 What about the Forth Rail bridge? Exactly my thoughts, it is a World Heritage site now. Maybe because Azamara does not tender from there but docks in Leith it was sadly overlooked.

jan-n-john Posted December 19, 2016 #12 Share Posted December 19, 2016 (edited) I would second the Forth Bridge to be included. Also the Millau Viaduct. Edited December 19, 2016 by jan-n-john
BBMacLaird Posted December 19, 2016 Author #13 Share Posted December 19, 2016 I suppose the list is the 16 most iconic bridges that will be visited in the course of that particular trip. It certainly can't be the 16 most iconic in the world and leave out some of those mentioned above plus perhaps the most iconic of all, the GOLDEN GATE! Our GG bridge is #2 on the list! P.s. I cross the Golden Gate many times per week. It's always breathtaking.

You're fast Bonnie, but me too as I had already corrected that error and edited the post before I saw your post. Sorry for creating some confusion. Another candidate would surely be the Pont de Gard, although admittedly it was actually an aqueduct not a road bridge.
