WOOHOO.........Thank you thank you thank you.  Major milestone just hit.  Of course it was long ago in Cabo Bob's rear view mirror.....but I just hit a cool HALF A MILLION POINTS.

Congratulations! Your on your way to the million mile club. Hope you have a great year of cruising. Just booked a cruise out of Galveston TX. Going with my wife, Sis and her Hubby. One of the first cruises since the shutdown!  So lets use up these points and getta cruisin.

We are sailing in January as well! Which ship you going on? Where are you headed? We are taking the Fascination hopefully to Antigua, Dominica, Tortola, Barbados and St. Thomas. Excited about this itinerary.

Elation. It's just a 5-day to Grand Turk & Amber Cove, but we enjoy both stops, so it should be nice. I'm looking forward to it because we haven't cruised on any of the smaller ships. I'm very curious to experience the different dynamic compared to larger ones. And it was just in dry dock in March, so no one's cruised on it yet. Come January, it should still be fairly fresh. They did cosmetic updates like carpets, paint, & tile. Updated the cafe to JavaBlue and one of the bars to Alchemy. Plus a couple other things. The downside is, they added the Limelight Lounge. I don't like the design of those.

Here's a little trick I do.  I keep my Carnival and Princess cards right next to our passports so I always know where they're at.

Good idea.

Same here, just broke 500k the other day. I was getting all our cards from AARP before their big change and hoarding our Allstate points. Now that AARP is what it is, we've been pulling from our Allstate supply. For us, though, it's enough points to last us for many years.

Has anyone received an Email with codes lately? It has been a while for me so I checked my preferences but they are on for emails. Codes have really slowed down recently and I have not figured any out. Going to try this morning and if I get one I'll post it. Happy memorial day Everyone! Play safe and Have Fun!

And a Happy Memorial Day to you too Cabo Bob! And let us remember why we celebrate this special Day. To remember those that gave their lives in defense of this country. I remember, and I will never forget. Thank you for your service.

And no, I haven't received any emails with codes recently.  In fact, since I signed up last January, IIRC, I've only received 2. No more. Grrrrr...

I mentioned this a couple weeks ago. The last email I got was at the end of April. That was the 15,000 point code. I guess they figure since they gave us that, it makes up for not issuing more for now. I suspect card sales have gone down because of the shutdown and that's why they began offering them at 12% off (just a guess). The shutdown could also explain why they haven't been pushing out too many codes lately. From past observations, they seem to want to slow people down from building up a big supply of points. I remember when they were out of stock earlier this year, the codes stopped too. So it's as if they intentionally regulate the output of codes to prevent stockpiling. We get around this by sharing them.

The codes that bury me at sea has been posting are from the app.

Like Joe I finally got signed up in January, thanks to clear, non-technical help from OC.  I remember getting only one through e-mail as a welcome but there may have been a second one.

I am at a loss as to why the last one I got on the app didn't work for a number of days.

Thanks Everyone for your replies. I thought I clicked off my email preferences or something. The Casino is offering me 500.00 in credit if We take a cruise this year.(like to gamble) Does not apply to cruises already booked. Bummer 😒.  So nice of them to offer that after we booked, LOL.

Fallen, but not forgotten. Remember and honor them.

I've gotten two in 2020, on January 27 and April 27.

Little slow to the plate but yes I got the wonderful 15000 point email also. I've bought a lot of cards at the 12% off (great deal) so I'm good for now. Hope it helps Carnival get through these tough times. It's hard to beat Carnival for value! Everyone have a great weekend. The weather is nice and the Country is opening up. Have Fun and be Safe!

PS; Spent three hours trying to crack some codes but to no avail. Seems like all the codes come out from left field and are not associated with product, sweepstakes or auctions. New site is harder because you have to retype the whole code. Old site you could just rearrange the letters and numbers. Well it was good while it lasted.  Bob

POINTSHELP for 15k

I don't even follow this that much anymore, as it will be a long time before I need more cards, and have 300k points, but 15k is very nice.  Thanks a bunch.

One thing that I have noticed, while we don't get as many codes (or I should say variations) I am definitely getting more points on My Challenges.  I live in NJ, I would normally be driving up and down the NJ Turnpike and Garden State Expressway a few times a week for a drive that takes about an hour and half.  By only driving locally to the store and back and not going on highways keeping my speed under 80 for 3 driving days and no hard breaking is suddenly not a problem!
