Rare ski ww Posted February 25, 2017 #6 Share Posted February 25, 2017 Checking in, it's very foggy out there. Can only see as they pass in front of the camera. Allan
Rare ski ww Posted February 25, 2017 #7 Share Posted February 25, 2017 Just watched the Zuiderdam sail in, that's what we call a real pea souper. Even in the harbour she disappears from the camera. Allan
Happily@Sea Posted February 25, 2017 #8 Share Posted February 25, 2017 I'm glad I didn't get up early to watch the sail-in - what a great non-view. Thankfully it should burn-off before sailaway. Strange to have Zuidy in on Saturday, usually her schedule puts her here on Sun and Wed.
Rare POA1 Posted February 25, 2017 #9 Share Posted February 25, 2017 You know how people sometimes ask if the ships' fog horns get on the nerves of the people who live in the condos? Well, today is such a day. Long blasts every minute since around 5:30 AM. I can't see the jetty. Heck, I can barely make out the shoreline on the near side. travelnap Posted February 25, 2017 #11 Share Posted February 25, 2017 The fog is pretty heavy in FL and in Miami, but the view in Key West is very nice this morning.

Rare Scrapnana Posted February 25, 2017 #17 Share Posted February 25, 2017 Despite the morning fog, it is a nice looking day in FLL. The forecast is showing rain for tomorrow. Gorgeous sky in Key West. Juneau has gotten a dusting of snow as the work continues on the new dock.
Rare Copper10-8 Posted February 25, 2017 #18 Share Posted February 25, 2017 Afternoon y'all Not a bad day in FLL and a beaut of a day in KW Bryan, if you're watching, that skyline with the skyscrapers in the background on the FLL cam, is that Hollywood? Rare Copper10-8 Posted February 25, 2017 #20 Share Posted February 25, 2017 Zuidy's OOW making multiple attempts to get a hold of their port agent who is not paying attention to his/her portable radio; he just responded ;) Btw, that's how a Irishman by the name of Graham pronounces Zuiderdam; pretty darn close to how a Dutchman pronounces it
