Celebrity Onboard App?

Does Celebrity have an onboard App for use during a cruise? If so, is it useful?

Celebrity does not have a app like this.

 

The only app(s) they ever offered are terrible...quite useless...never updated. Don't bother with them.

I just installed an app which (for some reason) is limited to Constellation and Equinox. It has dining, entertainment and itinerary information.

Does anyone know if there's a app roadmap that states when they are planning to roll this out for other ships? Hopefully, it's better than their sorry website. If they could just hire IT personnel who are as talented as their chefs....

I am boarding the Equinox tomorrow. What is the name of the app? I assume it works without using paid WiFi. Does it just hook up for free through Celebrity WiFi?

Just search Celebrity Cruises in your App Store. The iOS version was updated 2 days ago, I don't know about the Android version. No wifi package required, but so far the only ships it works with are the Equinox and the Constellation.

I tried the new app when first launched last fall for Equinox (iOS version), it opened, then crashed, beyond useless (big surprise .........not) hopefully the latest release has fixed it. Was supposed to work on the ships wifi w/o payment and allow you to see deck plans, the daily schedule, info on dining options, etc. Not sure it allowing making/cancelling dining ressies, texting between guests, etc like the NCL app does.

Works fine on my i phone just needs the rest of the fleet added! Hopefully before I sail but not counting on it!

I can get it to work as well. It's a little clunky but if they can get the rest of the fleet on it it might be useful. I'm onot holding my breath, though.

We are currently on the Constellation and the app works great on my IPad. Handy for checking menus or activities.
