zqvol Posted March 29, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 29, 2017 I don't have a menu, but having just gotten off thee Getaway, I can tell you that it is difficult to find something that is NOT covered under the UBP, unless you get into really top shelf liquors. Are u allowed to get that souviner fushbowl cup? Said drinks are 12.95 with glass? Or u still need to pay?

Everything I've read is that the souvenir glass is not included but you may purchase the glass for an additional amount. You can get the drink that comes in it for free, but not the souvenir glass. NCLfamily Posted March 29, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 29, 2017 There are a few single malt Scotch Whisky's that are over $15. It annoys me that they don't just list the ones that are and aren't on each bar menu. I always found one I like though. sanger727 Posted March 29, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 29, 2017 You won't have trouble finding drinks that are covered, but you also won't have trouble finding drinks that are not covered. We like the martini bar and roughly half the menu was under $15 and the other half was $17.95... also recall a handful of drinks on the rest of the menu that were over; but finding a covered drink wasn't a challenge. And all the basics, margarita, pina colada, daiquiris etc were covered unless you asked for a premium liquor. TheDougOut Posted March 30, 2017 #11 Share Posted March 30, 2017 What do they consider premium liquor - Grey Goose, Maker's Mark etc? Specific to Grey Goose, I believe the regular/unflavored is covered but all of the flavored vodkas carry a small up-charge.
TheDougOut Posted March 30, 2017 #12 Share Posted March 30, 2017 This is not bang uo to date... Yeah, that looks like the old version, not a good reference after last year's price jump. Edit: I "think" this may be the current one...

Wow, that's not great. The Malt selection under $15 isn't great.
caddykid12 Posted March 30, 2017 Author #15 Share Posted March 30, 2017 My girlfriend is into the fruity mixed drinks. Sex on the beach. Mudslides and all that and Vodka splash on cran and sprite for me. I know with carnival u are a little more limited with price beverage options. You do get soda right?? With the UBP? Heard u don't get a can. Only fountain sodas? But u can get soda in casino and mdr?

You won't have trouble getting any of those drinks covered by the UPB; yes, soda is included. If you go to a bar that has a fountain then only fountain soda is included; but if you go to a bar that doesn't have a fountain (there's one in the buffet) you will be given canned soda under the UBP. Yes, can get soda in the MDR and casino. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
PharGirl79 Posted March 30, 2017 #17 Share Posted March 30, 2017 I get kind of ovewhelmed trying to search message boards! Could anyone tell me if they have gotten rid of Blue Moon? That's my go to beer and the last few O'Sheehan menus I've seen do not have it listed. Is it gone ocmpletely or only available at certain bars. I really appreciate it!! caddykid12 Posted March 31, 2017 Author #18 Share Posted March 31, 2017 Sounds easy enuff.!! I guess hopefully most specialty drinks on that 2014 link haven't changed much. She likes what she Saw
Buttwig Posted March 31, 2017 #19 Share Posted March 31, 2017 I just found a District Brew House beer menu from early 2016 and they have Blue Moon. Last Blue Moon I drank tasted exactly like water...but then again, I like the really hoppy IPAs. I'm looking forward to a week of fruity rum drinks possibly with little paper umbrellas on our May cruise. Even if I have to bring the little paper umbrellas myself lol. I hear ya....now that I've found myself in the IPA world, I'd rather drink just about anything before guzzling down a Coors/Bud Light.

GA Dave Posted June 2, 2018 #24 Share Posted June 2, 2018 This one is from February 2018 https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showpost.php?p=55563153&postcount=5 Thanks for posting. Very helpful for budgeting. We have the unlimited beverage package, and I have been surprised by how many people on the boards have been complaining about the $16.95 drinks. I have no problem paying the $1.95 difference for that level of alcohol! After my previous theme park trips with the DW and two kids back in the day, this cruise seems like a bargain to me. I used to have to budget for $1000/day just for food, drinks and souvenirs on those trips to Orlando!
