racerxspeedy Posted April 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2017 Nov 18 Indy - 5 day western has balcony rooms as low as $350pp. I just swapped cruises to save a few buck on flights. Looked again today and the price dropped over $200. Balcony room with tax for $863 total. The current "Sale" ends in 9 hours - if that means anything

crzndeb Posted April 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2017 Post this on the Roll Call. That's where the most can take advantage. Some people who post on the Roll Calls never look at these main cruise line boards.
Ken at the beach Posted April 25, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 25, 2017 The 5 night on Nov. 27 also has balconies for around the same price.
ZoeyVictoria Posted April 25, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2017 I saw this thread when I got up for a few minutes with insomnia. I saw a great price - $218 - for an inside on November 27, but couldn't book it on the iPad. Or the iMac. I called, the rep said the price was $428 and a balcony would be less. I could see the $218 on the screen, so he tried from the website. He could see the $218, but no cabins appeared. He told me it appeared to be a website issue. Then, on his fourth try, one lonely cabin was available. By coincidence, it is in our preferred area, close to the aft elevators, but a few rooms further back than we would have chosen. No problem, a less desirable location would be fine for this price. It has been a long time since I was able to grab a great deal like this. Thank you for posting! And thank you to the rep who kept trying until he succeeded.

scorpluvsdolphins Posted April 25, 2017 #8 Share Posted April 25, 2017 For November 18th: With my casino rate and C&A rate I nabbed a D2 for $381 for two people. And a JS on the next cruise for $586 for 2. Not each. Yippee Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app

irishgal432 Posted April 25, 2017 #10 Share Posted April 25, 2017 I have a family of 5 (3 college kids) and it was cheaper at this time to do 3 rooms with 1 being solo in balconies than putting the 3 kids in an inside room. The timing of this cruise is odd since it returns on Thanksgiving Day.

tigers317 Posted April 25, 2017 #19 Share Posted April 25, 2017 I just booked the last Interior Q on Nov 27 sailing for $175 per person. Now I just have to convince the wife to let us go.
Biker19 Posted April 25, 2017 #20 Share Posted April 25, 2017 We sail every Thanksgiving and have never seen a balcony that low. The sailing OP mentioned is not really a Thanksgiving cruise - it ends that day. The pricing on the 11/23 cruise is quite good as well though - $569pp in a JS, less than a D3 on the same sailing. racerxspeedy Posted April 25, 2017 Author #21 Share Posted April 25, 2017 That's a tempting "suite deal" for a Thanksgiving cruise. Would make a decent B2B if you are one that likes to stay on the ship in port.

I think you booked the one that I booked at 1:00 a.m. this morning and changed at 11:00 a.m. 😄 Does it end in "7"? It was the only one available, actually popped up while I was on the phone with the rep during the night. I changed it because I called Casino Royale and they were able to upgrade us to a D1 for an additional $6 pp. I can't believe this great deal. MrsKC08 Posted April 25, 2017 #23 Share Posted April 25, 2017 Some great deals to be had. Thanks to the OP for sharing the information. I looked, and was tempted..but we are doing a 10 night on Celebrity the beginning of December already and we can't take that extra time off. I even considered doing a B2B on this cruise and it would have been cheaper than our Celebrity...but we are really looking forward to the islands we are seeing on that December cruise. cruisinfromtampa Posted April 25, 2017 #25 Share Posted April 25, 2017 Thank you so much for posting! My my husband and I, along with my parents, were booked to do a 4-night on Majesty over Thanksgiving. We were able to go from an ocean view on Majesty to a D2 on the hump on the 11/18 sailing! We added a night, upgraded our room, and the cost went down $60 per couple! We all appreciate the heads up!
