Princess Cays port

We are taking a Caribbean cruise in December this year and our first stop is the Princess Cays port. Does this port have any shopping? Is there anything to do besides the ships excursions? Do we have to take a tender to shore? We will be on the Regal Princess.

I don't do shopping on any islands, so cannot comment.

PC is basically a nice beach with BBQ. There is a possibility to snorkel too.

It is tendering port, yes, just like a majority of private islands/beaches.

Enjoy

You tender over to the island. This is not really a shopping place but a place to relax on the beach. You can do a nice walk on your own or do some other things thru Princess. We always rent a clam shell so that the boys can have some shade. Friends like the cabanas but we have never booked them. Boys also bring snorkel gear and check out the fish etc.

There is a BBQ on the island as well. It is just a relaxing nice clean beach.

Enjoy.

Cabanas on Princess Cays aren't really a necessary expense for shade since there are pavilions & trees. Some people like to have AC if they get overheated & like the better menu they provide but the regular buffet they provide is plenty good enough for lunch.

It is just a pleasant beach day. I am personally not crazy about the meal served over there so we tend to have an early lunch on board at the buffet or International Cafe, then take the tender over later. Plus we can't take that much time in the sun. There are a couple of shops and some other merchants so take along some cash!

There are two places to shop on Princess Cay. The first one is inside Princess Cay. As you get off the tender it will be towards the right side. There is a store and some vendors. The second place is when you get off the tender go to the right. You see a fence and a guard sitting there. Just walk out the gate and there are about 10 vendors and one store there. Prices are better there. If you are going outside the gate you will need picture ID, besides your cruise card.

Not really a shopping day. It is a beach day with a shops both inside the property where you can use your cruise card, and outside where you require cash or maybe credit card. If you plan to go outside the Princess property bring your cruise card and Photo ID.
