jimsig Posted May 4, 2017 #26 Share Posted May 4, 2017 Saw you guys in Boston today on my way home from work. I was about to make a turn and saw the bow of the ship so I continued down the street to get a look. Just got off the Majesty Monday and it really made me second guess not staying on board :)

Tee & Chilli Posted May 5, 2017 Author #34 Share Posted May 5, 2017 No Indian food on the buffet all week? :( I noticed yesterday it was part of a theme night. I'm accustomed to seeing Indian food on the buffet everyday at a small station. This was not the case on this sailing. The theme nights were - American, Mediterranean, Mambo Italiano, Caribbean Colors, Indian Spice Market, Tex Mex, Asian
Alter Ego Posted May 5, 2017 #35 Share Posted May 5, 2017 BayonneCruising Kings Wharf Kings Whatf Cruising Boston Cruising Bayonne I was on this itinerary last year; think they do it once a year. Wonder why they don't do it more often? Also, wonder why they don't stop in Boston first so you don't have to go through immigration on board? Of course, I don't believe we had to again when we landed in Bayonne, so maybe that's a reason. I too really loved this ship and can't wait to return to her next month. Enjoy your last day on her! I am glad you had a nice weather today in Boston. Tomorrow will be rainy! Enjoy It should still be Terry. We saw him in September 2016 and again on the February 26, 2017 sailing. When we said hi to him and told him we were glad he was still on the ship, he laughed and said he had just rejoined the ship after being home for a while. Pandabear90 Posted May 5, 2017 #40 Share Posted May 5, 2017 Few kids on board No problem with getting a second reservation for iFly later in the week Solarium Bistro is getting popular and have turned people away last night and tonight due to no reservations although there were empty tables Plenty of empty chairs in the Solarium No sign of drink cards available Highest Pinnacle member on board has over 2200 points (157 cruises) No sign of Indian dishes at the buffet:( Purchased bogo dining and was assigned Wonderland for first night-Yippee Internet is working great Staff has been wonderful Great room steward Pizza appears under cooked. No issues with the staff placing a few slices back in the oven for crispier crust Food has been yummy although this is subjective Line for bumper cars was efficient Bon Jovi band was popular but too loud for me to stay The Gift is only shown the first 2 nights Bad rocking last night and this morning I don't have the drink package Made to order crepes were available one day for lunch in the windjammer This is now my favorite ship! Hope this info helps someone How's the nightlife on this cruise. Any nightclubs w/ dj's?
Tee & Chilli Posted May 5, 2017 Author #41 Share Posted May 5, 2017 Live bands in the music hall each night. This sailing has the Bon Jovi tribute band and Synergy. Synergy is populsr and they performed several nights based on the decade. Boleros also had music.
DonnaK Posted May 5, 2017 #42 Share Posted May 5, 2017 We LOVE Anthem.Glad Dru is the CD--hope he's there in June. What about the Activities Director--is it Chris? The activities manager is Kevin Tugwell. He is awesome - dynamic personality. Very good chemistry with Dru, not just the morning show but also some of the trivia that they co-host together. He was recently promoted to AM, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is promoted again to a CD someday!
SDA1125 Posted May 5, 2017 #43 Share Posted May 5, 2017 Would you be able to take a peek in the RC store and see how much they are charging for a carton of menthol cigarettes ? I have been asked to bring back 2 cartons when I cruise and was wondering about the price. Maybe newports or Marlboro ? I don't know what kind they sell. Stopped in Miami and cleared immigration. Nobody at Customs when we arrived in Galveston. Oops.
