skiiergirl Posted August 1, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2017 What will be RC's August gimmick "sale"? Bogoho? 3rd/4th sail free? Reduced deposits?😀 30% off all? 60% off 2nd? Over 90 sail free? No onboard gratuities if you prepay them?😀 "free upgrade" to the category you already booked😀

skiiergirl Posted August 1, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted August 1, 2017 Does it really matter? Lol....guess not. It just always entertains me to see what goofy "sale" they have with inflated prices. Just curious to see if they can be more "creative"!
cairyn Posted August 1, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 1, 2017 Buy one, Get one. Not half off. Not free. If you want one, buy 1. If you want 2, better buy another! Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

It is the "formula" to get to that "final price" and the wording of the "sale" that entertains me!:D

Rare L454S Posted August 1, 2017 #14 Share Posted August 1, 2017 All my bookings are exactly the same price. Been through a couple different "sale of the day" episodes.
fridaythe13th Posted August 1, 2017 #15 Share Posted August 1, 2017 Reduced deposit would make me happy! I hate tying up my money 1-2 years in advance. I try to look at it as being less I will owe, but still......
FPP777 Posted August 1, 2017 #16 Share Posted August 1, 2017 You could always hop for a glitch. On my June LOS cruise they were coming out of one "promotion" into another "promotion" and IT forgot to turn off the previous promotion, so both were applied for about 4 hours. Saved 800 between two cabins... With Royal IT, its always possible. :)

You had to be an early riser to catch it

Husky1987 Posted August 2, 2017 #19 Share Posted August 2, 2017 Checking for the past few weeks, it would have cost me over $1200 to upgrade from a JS to a GS on our September Adventure cruise. Today it cost me less than $600 to pull the trigger. Nice "gimmick".
jamesr3939 Posted August 2, 2017 #20 Share Posted August 2, 2017 I know it but can't say it. But, it really doesn't matter. Every time I have a cruise booked and some silly new sale comes out the bottom line is never better than what I got.
octoberdana Posted August 2, 2017 #21 Share Posted August 2, 2017 We purchased almost a year ago on a 30% off promotion with $50 pp. The prices now for the same room category are several hundred dollars with the BOGO including the OBC. So even if we moved down a room category we will still pay more.
