Can you cancel thermal spa passes?

Hi guys, we are considering purchasing thermal spa passes for an upcoming Breakaway cruise, however we do have an upgrade offer pending for a Haven Spa cabin ( not really expecting our offer to be accepted tho) anyway, of course the Haven spa cabin comes with passes to the thermal spa, so I was wondering if we were to buy passes now, but our haven offer gets accepted, can we cancel the original thermal spa passes?

I don't have an answer but think it would be possible, as long as you cancel prior to sailing. Long story, hubby had an accident on one of our cruises, the 3rd day out and we wanted to cancel our spa pass; no luck, we lost all the money we had paid and he even had a note from the ship doctor.

We bought spa passes for the Jewel ahead of time. We got on the ship, toured the spa and didn't like it as we had on previous ships and were allowed to cancel and be refunded. But this was on embarkation day and we hadn't used it yet.

You could just wait and purchase on board if you don't end up in a Spa Suite.

Our experience on the Epic. Had boughten a spa pass and upgraded to a Haven suite. The spa pass purchase was credited to our account and was applied to our final payment.

Why not just wait until you learn about the upgrade. Passes will still be available.

Because it is cheaper to buy in advance. And online bookings close at the same time as the last upgrades are issued.

Thanks again all. I guess I kinda thought they would sell out beforehand. That would be my reason for purchasing the passes in advance.

Jewel Thermal Spa looks like it is so small, 6 nice warm lounges and just 1 small therapy spa. All other areas are men's or woman's areas. Is that correct? Saw you cancelled once you boarded so it was not that great. We booked for our cruise with 10 sea days but not sure it will provide the escape we are looking for. We loved this on larger ships since DW and I can hang out together but it appears on Jewel not so much. Any feedback? Thanks!

Yes the Jewels Thermal Spa is pretty small compared to the Gem, I think the Dawn's is bigger
