Hoping all of our CC friends in its path, stays safe. It looks soooo scary. 😩

I second that. Also feel bad for the pax on Liberty of the Seas right now and those who are supposed to board Sunday. Given the projected path of the storm I don't see how the ship will be able to return to Galveston as scheduled.

Yikes. I wonder what they are going to do 🚢

Someone on Liberty of the Seas right now posted that they are leaving Cozumel this afternoon as scheduled, and the Captain said they think they'll have a window of opportunity where they can dock Sunday as scheduled. Problem is the storm is forecast to hug the Texas coast for several days bringing copious amounts of rain and major flooding, so who knows what will actually happen.

That appears to be a very optimistic captain. The port is currently closed, with the storm not due to hit till late Fri, early AM Sat. Given time for the storm to move through and for the port to be assessed a Sunday window is possible, but if there is any significant damage then that timetable is shot.

Yes, it looks they will be able to get in on Sunday. The problem is the aftermath. There will little if any transportation going for a few days after this monster. I can hear the Captain announcing "Ok we're here, everybody off, fend for yourselves". The next cruise may be half empty as a lot of people will not be able to even get to the port. Not a pretty picture no matter how you look at it.
