tbmrt Posted November 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 24, 2017 I read somewhere that dredging was being done which necessitated ships tendering instead of docking. Wondering if this is still the case.

Wondering if this is still the case. Yes, there is still dock works being done at Pointe Seraphine, which limits the number and size of ships that cab dock there. The docks at the order side are still all open for business. Where, or whether, you'll be docked vs tender depends on what ship you'll be in, and how many ships in port that day. You can check the SLASPA dot come site to see where you'll be at...

Nothing recorded yet for our 12/8 Reflection cruise, but I'll check out next week. Celebity still saying "docked". We have the Silhouette (same size as ours/large) and Azamara Quest (small ship) in port with us that day.

Charles4515 Posted November 30, 2017 #9 Share Posted November 30, 2017 Was just emailed by Royal Caribbean that Jewel of the Seas will not call at St. Lucia as scheduled on December 8 because of pier construction.
