They announced this on our Royal cruise earlier this month. I booked a cruise at home for February this morning. Too bad they did not send me the great email offer while I was on the Royal so that we could have booked on board.

Do you have to book a specific date or can you purchase and decide date when you get home? Also can onboard cruise consultant access casino rates?

Very nice but.... Booked the March 18 cruise back on August 29, 2016. No extra OBC for us but we did get the Sip & Sail at that time and the cruise is now much more expensive than when we booked so I guess we'll survive.

 

It's nice of you to give folks a head's up to be aware of these offers though. My wife said she heard people talking about some sort of similar offer on our most recent cruise but we tend to book waaaaaaaay in advance so she didn't pay much attention. Hopefully folks who see your post will keep their eyes and ears open when sailing and get some extra OBC. It never hurts to have spending money on a cruise and free is always my favorite "price". :D

Waiting to talk to a consultant can be an all day event, it was always bad but with this new plan its not worth a day of your paid trip.
