If you can take a pic of the seating or standing arrangement and location of the pax it will be appreciated. Near the alcoves?

They scan a bar code for entry to and exit from the ship, so it may not change that part. I read that X (and RCI) are working to make entry to your room be "cardless." Whatever wireless device you have (like a phone) would act as your room key.

 

The new cards no longer have a barcode or a magnetic stripe on the back of them. Everything is done by tapping the card now. Even boarding and disembarking the ship.

 

Oddly enough too they also list the last date of the cruise on the card. Not sure if that’s a glitch or if the new normal. Seems a bit odd.

With many key Reflection people including both Captains and the HD to the Edge and both Captains from the Summit going to the Reflection I guess there will be other key people from the Summit moving over as well.

What about while playing slots in the casino? Normally to earn your player’s points you slide the card into the machine while you play. Without the magnetic stripe that wouldn’t be possible. Maybe they’re giving out separate player’s cards now?

Nope. Well go to the social media site that Mark Z owns and find Celebrity Reflection. Scroll down and you will see this picture just posted recently. It shows the mats that one would be sitting upon, or not in the case of us who have bad backs or are unable to get up again!

Just saw the photo on Twitter that shows movie night on the lawn. Hoping the volume isn't too loud. It would ruin the alcoves during the day and be annoying during dinner at the lawn club grill at night.

 

Interesting to note that the alcoves did not appear to be replaced by the newer Solstice design. Hopefully, they did a little refurbishment. Those cushions needed to be replaced. Otherwise, I like the layout of the current alcoves.

The mats don't look at all comfortable, especially if you have a bad back. Add to that, bad knees that make getting up from the ground difficult. I'm also wondering how the movie screen will impact the Lawn Club Grill.

Not alot of size to the screen. Couldn't they pick a worse spot then that! Maybe they are only showing movies in the late afternoon. I can't believe that they would show movies in the evening with the Lawn Club serving dinner.

I can’t imagine too many people being comfortable sitting on a mat. I hope chairs suddenly appear after they realize passenger don’t like sitting on the ground

I agree with obnurse! I love the idea of seeing movies outside in the evening. I have seen many movies on other lines. I will not, however, be able to sit on a mat to watch a movie. Hopefully someone will get some sort of chairs up there.

Won’t mats kill the grass? Also we love the Lawn Club Grill, so hope when we are on Reflection for 21 days in February that our dining experience isn’t interrupted by a movie[emoji20]
