Does anybody know how the seas have been over the last few weeks?

Are we in for a smooth sailing or a rough ride?

I know the seas can change in an instant, just curious to see what they ha e been like. Thanks

What the seas were like is really pretty irrelevant and no one knows if you are in for smooth sailing or rough seas. You pretty much answered your own question with "I know the seas can change in an instant".

On a Western Caribbean RT out of New Orleans, we had perfect weather on the way down and stormy weather on the way back. Again, it really can change quickly.

Some days they have been rough with 20 feet seas. Some days they have been calm with seas less than 2 feet. Mother nature will let you know when she decides.

They'll probably be around 10 feet max, so you'll likely not feel anything.

 

If you're really worried about it, checkout buoyweather.com. It's a website designed for pleasure boaters, but you can just just click on the map somewhere between the islands and it'll give you the forecast for the next few days.
