We haven't been offered an elite yet, we'll try one if offered, we heard hey were quieter,  but until we do, we'll use 2 bounce back offers we got, then cancel our 2-15 day journey cruises later in the year, and just sit and wait to see if decent offers come in.

If the Carnival casino doesn't, we're headed to MSC, we're black cards there, or try out NCL. I heard RCL had matched NCL in their casino offers, but we still got bad feelings with RCL casio dept. from their nonsense a few years back.

If you have FTTF and go on a Premiere cruise with priority check-in which is "better"?

Thanks

it's the same thing from premier cruises you get the priority sticker on boarding pass. so I wouldn't recommend the Fttf youd be paying for something already included.

What is Urcomped?

It is a company that offers discounted cruises based on your offers from other casinos, cruise or land. You email them a copy of your offers and they will send a list of discounted cruises. After you take a cruise or land offer from them you are rated again and can get better offers. If you sign up it is a good idea to keep checking your offers as they add new ones regularly.

So it includes all the other FTTF perks too like having your room ready on boarding and being able to go the the "short" line at guest services? Do they put a sticker on your sign & sail card or something?

Ok sorry let me clarify based on what I experienced. There is no sticker on your card just the priority logo on your boarding pass and luggage tags. When we got on the ship which was a breeze via priority line they didnt open the doors to go to the rooms but just for the sake of trying we opened the door and our room was right there and this at 12:30 ish. Our room was ready and luggage had already been delivered. We did not get to go on the short line at GS... also for debarkation we did not get any priority off boarding but I was confused telling the gentleman I had priority he asked FTTF I thought it was the same thing and said yes...I had a baby & two children with , he asked for a card or sticker I said I misplaced it not sure what he meant .... but I showed him our luggage tags had priority on it and he okay we got to skip the line getting off but someone else asked about premier debarkation he said no special line. So I lucked out for being stupid. I was on a 4 day cruise.

OK, thanks for the feedback. I'm going to go ahead and keep my FTTF too. :)

I was finally able to print all my documents for my Sept 15 Premier Plus. I will post when I return. I hope it is not as crowded as the regular Premier cruise, where every slot machine is taken.

Premier Plus was wonderful.  Only 30 people were invited (plus 30 guests).  There were about 20 people total at the welcome cocktail party.  They had lots of drawings for free play, spa, excursions, chef table etc..  There were only about 60 names in the drum, so you get called numerous times (if you are in the casino).  We made it our business to be there.  My husband got called four times and I was called twice. They gave away a ton of free play. Casino not crowded at all.  The hosts were great and made it a lot of fun.  They offered comped steakhouse dinners, plus you got all the regular premier gifts; cookies, strawberries, fruit basket, beach towel, insulated cups, wine and champagne delivered to cabin.  I am doing the Ultra this Saturday on the Breeze and after reading recent Ultra reviews I am a little worried.  They are saying there are 400 to 500 invitees on these Ultra sailings.  That seems like an awful lot of people.  I have been on past Ultra's and I did not find them to be that crowded.  I always thought the regular Premier were the most crowded.  I guess I will find out on Saturday!

Just curious...we received a "We Miss You" casino offer (doesn't mention Premier, Ultra, etc) w/$500 reduced rates, $500 Funplay and DOU. This is just an individual offer, right? Just something to get us on the ship and in the casino? We booked an 8 day next month on the Conquest using the booking code they provided.

How was the Ultra?  Just got an email saying I can book a Spring Ultra Cruise beginning Dec. 6, no sailing dates listed, and the rate is "up to $500 off" which is better than nothing but not near as good as the free balcony room on the 2 premier plus cruises I received (took 1 on the Horizon, Oct. 20 and 1 scheduled on the Freedom Dec 29).

We also both got emails today saying we can book a Spring Ultra Cruise on Dec 6 so will try to patiently wait and see what sailings and dates are offered.  Does anyone know what the previous Spring Ultra information was and how many sailings there were?

We did our first Premier sailing in Sept and then a Getaway in Nov that my husband won in Aug on the Dream.  I think we enjoyed the Getaway more.  Better casino hosts, we saw a fair amount of payouts $10,000, 2 for at least $8,000 or a bit more and a bunch of smaller ones myself included for $2400!  It was a Getaway and we didn't have our bag in the cabin with DOU card and event schedule so got that in the casino.  We just happened to go to the casino and there were other Getaway people standing around asking about a welcome aboard party and not sure if there was supposed to be one or if it was in the casino but the 2 ladies that were the casino hosts had the bartender come over and take orders for free drinks for about an hour and introduced themselves, etc..  They also said since we were sailing from Galveston and DOU cards wont start until the next day just show the bartenders your Getaway lanyard with DOU card and drinks will be taken care of so that was awesome!!  We got to know a bartender Mark and tipped him well and were never thirsty the whole week!!  We were on the Valor and had awesome service.

Totally agree that the casino deals that Carnival offers aren't that good.

I was at the casino a lot in March on my first Carnival cruise. Enough to get freebies on board and am constantly getting offers.

The issue is that none of them are on my holidays when I can actually go on a cruise.

My home casino offered me a NCL cruise, $2400 savings. It's a cruise in the summer. To a place I want to go.

just got back Sunday 12/2 from the Premier Plus on the Conquest. This was a 8 day cruise. Only 50 cabins so about 100 invited. Lots of drawings for free play money but the cabin gifts were not exciting to say the least.  In room on arrival we had the lanyards and drink cards. Room gifts were as followed: Fruit basket with wine day 1, day 2 bottle of champagne, day 3 plate of 8 cookies, day 4 chocolate covered strawberries, day 5 plate of 4 cookies, day 6 2 beach towels, day 7 nothing, and the big final gift::2 bottles of water and 2 Godiva chocolate bars!  When I enquired about the gifts from the casino host he said the water bottles, blankets and other better gifts have been discontinued for ALL premier, premier plus, Ultra and Elite cruises. They are making all the gifts “standardized” across all the casino cruises.  So the beach towels are now the big gifts.   He did say they were getting a lot of complaints but the powers to be decided the gifts and the hosts have no control of them.   He did comp us a dinner for 3 to the steakhouse as I was with my mom and hubby.

Got an Ultra offer for Dec 6th so will decide about that but wanted to give a heads up for anyone thinking about doing a casino cruise and thinking there were great room gifts.

On the same sailing and agree.  If anything, put the towels last so it’s not so anticlimactic!  Always grateful for the “free” cabin so I can decide how much to spend in the casino, and a gift is a gift I supposeas I would gamble anyway because I enjoy it.  Got the Ultra for an interior that opens for us on 12/4 so may take advantage of that as well if the dates work out!  Not sure I’m buying Dion’s explanation to you, just saying!  I enjoy Carnival even if I’m loyal to a fault.  Happy sailing!

On our first Premier in Sept on the Breeze I don't think anyone got a gift on the last night like your supposed to and we were underwhelmed overall.  Now on our first Getaway in Nov on the Valor we did get one beach towel in our room on the last night along with other treats throughout the week.  The Casino hostess were great on the Valor, on the Breeze the hosts changed toward the end of the week and I think that was part of the problem.

I wanted to say "Thanks” to everyone who has posted to this thread. Really great information.

I have just booked our first "premier cruise". The offer is based off my DW slot play rating. (I play BJ & Craps, and have never been given a kind of benefit no DOU, BB, other anything else.) And I spend more time at the table, and tip the staff well.

We are taking a Premier cruise on 2/2/19 aboard the Splendor.

We have a very limited budget for our casino entertainment (200 dollars a day each). My wife reaches the 2000 point mark, but not much further than that.

 I have a question;

We never receive any offers from Carnival by email or snail mail. All her offer offers are on her VIFFP page only. How can I apply those to the “URComped” website ?

The website says; “Upload Images of both the FRONT and BACK of your offer making sure your name, players card #, or email address is visible in one of the pictures. Please make sure your entire Cruise Certificate is visible with no obstructions. (Accepted Image types are: jpg, jpeg, png).

Hi all, we're trying to figure out how to book a cruise through the casino. My husband likes to play a good bit, but we've not been on a cruise in a while (kids and life happened!) but now the baby is finally old enough to go on the cruise without me worrying constantly and we're not sure how to get restarted with the players club. We got a mailer and he called the person named on there, but the cruise we wanted was of course not included and she told him to send an email to the casino. He did that, naming  particular cruise and the offer on the mailer, but they replied back that we should contact the reservations line with no mention of players club or comps. We will go the URcomped route if need be, but we were trying to deal with the club directly first. Is that useless? TIA!! :classic_happy:

Finally decided to stop Carnival for awhile!

We cruised 100 days plus in the last year on Carnival casino offers from Ultra to Premier to B2B's! So we aren't complaining, maybe we were spoiled by past offers!

We'll just move on until the offers get better!

We currently have 3 B2B's, Ultra's, Premier's, Getaways' etc., offers right now that we just don't want! (basically full cabin price with $1000. casino cash)

On our recent 14 day Journey/Ultra Breeze cruise, we talked with some 'Diamond' Ultra's who've recently gotten Elite, and free cabin offers. They all said the same,,,,walk away for awhile, the casino dept. will make offers to get you back!

After seeing approx. 500 Ultra's on the Glory, and on the Breeze, I'm not so sure! It might be that Carnival 'suffers' from the riches of having too many 'casino players' right now so they've lowered their offers!

To those still getting good offers, the best of luck to you!

I have all the same that have been mentioned. We usually go on Premiers under my wife's play. And I have been on one Ultra the same way.

Today I got an email for an Elite which I had never heard of and it was under my play. I figured I have approx. 25K combined on the last two cruises.

But the weird thing is the offer was for me under a different VIFP account that was Red. I am Platinum.

So,has anyone had this happen to them?

Anyone been on an Elite and what should I expect if I actually get it and go?

How was the trip if you selected Elite?

If you are the invited guest for an Ultra, did your significant other get cash and or entered in drawings?.. with our premier offer booking we both got casino cash and entered in the drawings?

We get the same from either Premier which advertises $20,000 in gifts/drawings, and Ultra which advertises $100,000. in gift/drawings!

Just got off the Horizon on an Elite yesterday. You get a bottle of alcohol each for you and your guest in your stateroom, a free excursion, gifts in your cabin, exclusive drawings, waived room service, free social media for the invited guest and free cheers packages for you and a guest. Less casino intensive than Ultra. If your offer is free you should definitely try it.

My friend and I both have a ton of offers and are thinking of booking a girls’ cruise.

My best offer is for $500 off and $500 free play. She also has offers for the same sailings but her offer is for $500 off and $100 free play.

Here’s my questions:

1) Is my $500 free play for me, me and a guest or to be split among or between the cabin?

2) If the $500 is only for me and she comes as my “guest” could she still get her $100 free play and/or $500 off?

3) The prices aren’t really much better than booking without an offer, does more money get deducted at some point? I’m almost leaning towards Atlantis or Vegas for the $$$ it seems like it will cost and the type of play available but I kind of want to try a premier and a girl cruise too. Miss the B2B offers!

Its a fictional number, let me explain,,,,

The prices have gone up this year by almost double the amount they are offering you 'off'!

This year our Premium cruises are priced a minimum $4-$500. 'more' then last year for 2!

We are offered $500. off with $1000 play for me, and $200 for my wife.

Our Ultra's are the same, higher priced with more off!(?)

The bottom line is,,,we're paying 4-500 more per week then last year 'with' the additional 4-500 off offers!

What cruisers have told me on ultras and premieres,,,,, if you go awhile without cruising, your offers will improve.

One couple told me they took a year off from Carnival, and were offered an 'elite' cruise, a balcony for only port fees and taxes, and their play is much less then ours!

Carnival's response to us, we don't qualify! Sure we don't qualify, cause Carnival sees us cruising 'without' the offers! That's gonna change!

That's why right now we're canceling over 30 days of cruising planed this year on Carnival, and will go to other lines with better offers for awhile!

We'd rather cruise Carnival, but the casino offers just aren't close to others!
