Pursuit now heading South from IOM - maybe going to Dublin !!!!!

Very interesting. Pursuit now heading due south, opposite direction to Belfast. Anybody got any idea what’s going on? Captain Carl friend seemed to manage a visit to Peel. Could it be that the Azamara Pursuit has been hijacked in his absence!! Very intriguing. Maybe Captain Jose needs a ride home?![emoji57]

Pursuit not scheduled to dock until 11.30 or 11.50 tomorrow morning. My guess is that he is killing time.

I think you are correct. She’s now heading back up the Irish Sea. Am still intrigued to know why the diversion so far south? Why not just stay put in Peel, or just hold off of Belfast? Curiouser and curiouser.

Just a bit more time to test her out. I'm sure they've been doing quite a lot of that. It's taken nearly two weeks to cross from dry dock in the Bahamas. They could probably have done it in 9 days.

Plenty of pictures on Carl’s FB page, which friends ashore shared with him.

He said it was a pity it was so windy, otherwise they would have stayed longer.

Also one which he had taken of his home from the ship, which could be the explanation for the ship turning south.

Ah, mystery solved. Not on FB but sounds like it was quite a special day for Cpt C. Despite this appalling weather! Though I’m sure he’s quite used to it, almost appropriate really.

Thank you for the information, just caught it on iPlayer interesting that they mentioned work staring in June. But I suppose there’s a lot of deconstruction going to take place before reconstruction starts.
