dbali Posted March 30, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 30, 2018 We are a few years out from being able to cruise that long but I don't see anything offered after 2018. Anyone know?

Rare uktog Posted March 30, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2018 It’s just a reposition itinerary so there will always be such a collection of cruises, they have it in 2019 just not without the who ha Sent from my iPhone using Forums

The World Journey isn’t a World Cruise. It’s just the same set of repositioning cruises between New Zealand and Northern Europe they’ve sailed every year the past 10 years marketed as a package. And as Ann says, you can book the exact same thing in 2019 just without the “who ha”.
Grandma Cruising Posted March 30, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 30, 2018 From what I’ve seen on Twitter Azamara do seem to making a fuss of the ‘world cruisers’, so I think it must feel different from simply doing back to backs. For example OBC, free Air, Hotel pre cruise, etc. in other cruise lines with years of experience on world cruises, there are more benefits which make the whole experience special, for example at Crystal cruises. We were hesitant to book the WC 2018 with Azamara because, we were not sure how the company was going to handle the issue of entertainment and repetition of food. I will like to see cruisers who are doing the full WC 2018 to post their experiences, but I have not seen Those posts yet. Does anybody know how many are doing the full WC 2018 on Azamara? I have read that on Crystal cruises there are about 300. But I will only now exactly next year. Ivi
dbali Posted March 31, 2018 Author #10 Share Posted March 31, 2018 Thanks for the replies. Without all of the "perks" AZ will have to come WAY down on the price to make doing back to back segments worth while. I would really like to see a real world cruise that starts and ends in the US. Guess we will just have to wait and see.
