Rare xpcdoojk Posted April 20, 2018 #252 Share Posted April 20, 2018 The clotted cream is lovely in or on cakes but the custard is for puddings like xmas pudding, spotted dick pudding and sponge pudding's etc and very nice. Sent from my Kestrel using Forums mobile app The version we had was sort of like ice cream just not very sweet. It was definitely served cool. At first because it wasn’t sweet, I wasn’t sure I liked it, but like I said, it grew on me. JC

Rare xpcdoojk Posted April 20, 2018 #255 Share Posted April 20, 2018 Sounds like a disease that I have treated. I only ordered it to freak my DW out. I knew what it was basically. It was nice. She was wondering what nasty thing was coming out and she ended up eating some of it. Of course, we had white bait for an appetizer too. I thought that was funny eating bait instead of fish. Kind of a fried fresh anchovies. JC
