What is the most disgusting thing you have seen fellow passengers do?

Recommended Posts

I once saw a man with large breasts, lift one up with one hand, and the other hand popped his boils. He then proceeded to smell his fingers and wipe the blood/puss on trunks. When he was done with both breasts, went in the pool.

How's that for ruining your pool time!

Geez, that's enough to gag a maggot.

I think drunk people on cruise ships is the most disgusting thing. Does that mean all alcohol should be removed from the ships? No I have no right to tell other guest what they can or cannot drink.

If the legal actions of others, removal of optional service fees affects someone they have every right to stay home. Passenger only purchase their cruise, what happens between other passengers and the cruise line is not your business.

Us drunks have voted you off the ship. :')

Well, at least MRSA dies quicker in pool water than in marine water. But yes, that is foolish, careless, and udderly disgusting.

Fixed it for you

That's a good pun...took me a minute. I appreciate sly jokes. Thank you! :)

Vote me off I defended your right to drink if you want. "No I have no right to tell other guest what they can or cannot drink.

Can I change my statement and vote all drinkers off? It would be a very empty ship.

Well that is true, but there’s one problem with cruise ship pools that may make this even more disgusting. And that is some lines use sea water to fill the pools and hot tubs. Depending on the ship/line, and where you are in the itinerary, they will recirculate sea water through instead of using chlorinated brominated or otherwise treated water. So there is a chance that the pool or hot tub he got into? Was salt water and not treated.

YUCK

OK...I was GOING to go eat lunch but now I don't think I can. Serves me right for reading this thread before eating.:o

And the guy with the bacon in his backpack reminds me of a former coworker. Last year, she had gastric bypass (she weighed 400 lbs if she weighed an ounce and had severe diabetic issues as well as diabetic nerve pain in her feet) and now..all she eats is bacon. Like..ever.

This thread got me wondering about this. CruiseRadio.net has an article which quotes Carnival as saying that the salt water pools are emptied, the pool sanitized, and refilled "several times" during a cruise. Does anyone have first hand knowledge? Ever seen it?

The only ones there would be teetotalers like yourself that decide to remove the gratuities that should be given to those that serve us on the cruise..

Years ago on the Fascination I walked into one of the restrooms and someone had smeared poop - lots of it - all over the mirror, sinks, and vanity. You could tell they did it with their bare hands. I backed out quickly and went to find a crew member, who closed the restroom immediately.

Just thinking about it, even after all these years, triggers my gag reflex.

Hopefully it was chocolate melting cake? For the sake of humanity I hope it was!

May be it's time for all the cruise lines to get together and create a blacklist for the most heinous things such as violence, jeopardizing the safety of other passengers, damaging or vandalizing property etc. NO more cruises for those on it!

Hate the folks in swimming attire in the buffet.

I saw a kid throw up in a cabin hallway as the mom was dragging them off to somewhere. They didn't stop to clean up nor alert the steward that was around the corner. I did. This was on a Disney cruise.

Saw two gross scenes in ladies rooms. One was off the Lido deck pool area and was a trash can filled with throw up. Other was a toilet near the casino that was loaded to the max with...won't go into any more details on that one. Except to say there was no toilet paper in there. Makes one wonder. These were both on Carnival.

Details, please!

Are we talking TransAtlantic Cable, circling the circumference

or

Chocolate Fondue Pot?

Watched a retiree in front of me, at a late lunch without many people in line, use the utensil to put five or six pieces of a fried food on her plate, then take one from her plate to sample it. When she decided that she didn't like it, she tipped her plate, returning the rest back in the serving pan.

“Retiree”?? What an offensive term for Life-Experienced people. LOL

Fine: Decrepit woman, probably not retired because she thought social security would be enough, so now she works part time in a local grocery store, scraped all her pennies together to barely afford a low-budget cruise on Carnival.

There: is that less offensive than "retiree"?

Now you can really LOL
