All ready to head out. I got a couple stops to make. One to get cash just in case and coffee.

For the last 2 cruises, I’ve brought coffee with me on cruises. I bring my french press and wait until absolute last minute to buy coffee because once grounded, it starts to degrade quicker. Coffee across the 4 cruise lines I’ve been on have had horrendous coffee, but then again, i’m a coffee snob.

Totally agree. I have to do 1/2 hot water 1/2 coffee to make it palatable.

Well when i dont have the drink package at least.

I've been on Grandeur twice. It has been my favorite ship (not favorite itinerary) in the Royal fleet thus far. I did a 7 night Bermuda in 2013 and a 10 night Eastern Caribbean (St. Thomas/St.Martin) in 2016.

I really wish the 7 night Bermuda still existed. That cruise was absolutely amazing.

I thought their 10 night itinerary was amazing. I did that in 2014. 12 nights is inefficient. Pretty much have to take two weeks off to do it

This is about a mile down the road from Saints Row Brewery on Taft Street. Friends of ours own the brewery. They have made a nitro stout incorporating coffee from Mayorga. They don't always have it on tap, but if you are into coffee stouts, it's simply amazing!

Enjoy the coffee on your cruise. We have to wait 6 months until we board Lady G again.

Is this a restaurant or just a brewery? I’ve never seen it before.

Just a brewery, but you are welcome to bring your own food and they occasionally have food trucks in the parking lot on Friday nights or Saturdays. It only opened in August of last year, so it's fairly new, but we've enjoyed the times we've been there so far!

You just got on and I just got home. :)

Ok, I got home about 3 hours ago.

But traffic was horrible on 295. ;p

Hansen, have a great cruise.

For you and for anyone else traveling this month and next, you will have one of the best CDs in the fleet. DO NOT MISS ANY SHOWS.

Mike does stuff before and after the shows that will have you peeing your pants!

Bon Voyage!

Just in case anyone reading Rogueperson's thread here doesn't know, there are local laws that hamper things the first and last days.

The casino and shops will not open on the first day at all. You have to wait until Day 2.

And the casino and shops close at 5 P.M. on the last day.

Plan accordingly. :D

So happy to hear that Grandeur is a favorite among so many. We have never cruised on her before and are looking forward to our trip more than ever.

She is a smaller ship without all the fancy bells and whistles, but we enjoyed a very nice relaxing 10 days on her in 2014!
