I grabbed 3, still waiting on the email. Is it a max of 3 per person or a max of 3 per order? I can't find anything in the fine print. Not going to try again until after I get my first order.

Sold directly by ebay so it is legit, not a third party seller.

 

I'd say fakes are the ones people bought from third party sellers, there are sold directly by Ebay.
Actually, the seller is PayPal Digital Gifts, not eBay. It's owned by PayPal itself and is an official distributor of gift cards, as far as I can tell.

You can only pay through PayPal. It won’t accept direct credit or debit cards.

 

I tried typing in my credit card 12 times now, it won't take any of my credit cards either. :(:(

Do you have a Paypal account setup? I'm able to login to Paypal just fine. Not being rude, I'm honestly asking if you have a Paypal account.

Ah, I have received that message before. If you actually do have a Paypal account, wait about 5 minutes and try again. Not sure if it's eBay or Paypal that loses their mind. :)

Yes I do, I just linked my PayPal account to my ebay account about 30 minutes ago think that was the issue but that did not resolve it. I also tried using the ebay app on my iPhone and using using the link in this thread on two different browsers on my desktop. All with the same results. I have tried calling PayPal but they will not have someone to call me back in the next 1:39 - 2:28 hours.

You can ask to have them applied when you check in. You can ask at the Guest Services desk on the ship to apply them. I also understand you may be able to do it at the onboard kiosk. But what I did this time is just go to my sailing and placed an order through Fun Shops and purchased Cruise Cash. It will then be applied directly to my sign and sail card, can be used towards any balance on your Sign and Sail such as gratuities charged when onboard, excursions, photos, drinks, meals, etc.... can even be used to cover cash charged to your Sail and Sign account in the casino at the slot machines. Easier than wasting time of the rep at check-in or Guest Services person, plus I know I won't have to worry about any issues that could come up later with getting the gift cards applied.

Call Carnival direct to pay for your gratuities. Just tell them you're using a Carnival Gift card.

All three cards arrived in my inbox 7 minutes after purchasing. They came as three separate emails.

 

FYI, it says they are "More than 78% sold," and going steadily. With every page refresh, it goes up another percent.

 

Just throwing this out there. The other day a user here who had just gotten off the Glory reported that when they tried to apply their Carnival eCards at Guest Services, they were told that, due to problems with fraudulent gift cards purchased on eBay, etc., they had to wait a day so their gift cards could be verified first. I've only seen this one person mention experiencing this, so take it for what it's worth. They didn't try to add the cards from the kiosk, so I'm not sure if that would've been any different. Keep in mind that if you buy Cruise Cash, it's good for that cruise only and is non-refundable (unless you're aware of the cash-out "trick" in the casino), so use it or lose it.

I bought one with Paypal a few hours ago but it has not yet been delivered.

 

I’d double check that your transaction went through. I got my order confirmation email almost immediately and then the actual ecards 6 minutes later.

You've gone through the various things I would have tried. Paypal is just being a pita for you right now. Hopefully you get a callback soon.

I have tried to buy. It told me to contact PayPal. I did. Rep at PayPal said it was a security delay. They could not explain why verified accounts would need this security delay. I have been a PayPal member since 2001 and have a current credit card and my checking account. Nope. I keep getting an error. I am not impressed with this company.

 

This is not a way to run a business.

 

I bet if I clicked on the other option to apply for their PayPal credit card, it would work.

 

I give up. Congrats to all who were able to save a few dollars.
