Travel-Diva Posted May 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2018 We are a party of 5, we are flying into FLL the night before our cruise leaving from Miami. So do you think it’s easier to get shuttle service at FLL airport to Miami- do they do this at FLL airport? And stay one night at a hotel near port of Miami- does any of those hotel offer shuttles to port of Miami. Sorry for all the questions we have never done this before. Thanks for all your help. Also if anyone has any recommendations on hotels or shuttle service companies it would be greatly appreciated
6rugrats Posted May 13, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2018 I think going back to your previous thread, where you already asked the same question, and reading the answers you got, would be helpful: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2634049
Rare 1025cruise Posted May 13, 2018 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2018 You might want to ask on the Florida Departures board.
cb at sea Posted May 13, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 13, 2018 There are shuttle services that will take you from Ft. Laud to port of Miami in the morning. You do NOT want to use a cab...they only hold 4 and it's VERY expensive from FL to Miami. When you travel, you incur charges...just have to be prepared for them! Rare L1211 Posted May 13, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2018 We use uber, wouldn’t do the shuttle cattle call! Much prefer being on our own schedule. For 5 it’s likely cheaper. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
cruisinqt Posted May 14, 2018 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2018 We frequently cruise out of Miami but fly into Fort Lauderdale because the airfares cheaper. We stay at a hotel that has a free airport shuttle in Fort Lauderdale. Then we use Jiffy Jeff or SAS to take us to the cruise pier the next morning. It’s usually around $15 per person. We use the same service to take us from the cruise pier in Miami to the airport in Fort Lauderdale to fly home after our cruise. Works perfectly for us every time without a hitch. ;)

Some folks insist on asking a question over and over if they do not get the answer they want, hoping the answer will change.
JTBCruiser Posted May 14, 2018 #8 Share Posted May 14, 2018 We used QLS from Ft Lauderdale hotel to Miami port. Nothing fancy but they were prompt and got us to the ship in plenty of time. We've used Jiffy Jeff as well, good service.
