Rare go.without.you Posted June 2, 2018 #29 Share Posted June 2, 2018 To those who have snuck a 12 pk of beer on a cruise ship in a 12 pk soda case, how did you get rid of the evidence? I mean once you are done w the beer you have to throw it away! I don't want the maids to see it and then tell on me! Seriously what did you do do with the empty can? I thought about crushing it and throwing it away at home. What did you do? 2 simple words: You don't
LA_CA_GAL Posted June 2, 2018 #30 Share Posted June 2, 2018 To those who have snuck a 12 pk of beer on a cruise ship Seriously a 12 pack? That would be gone before the ship untied the lines. Here is what I do. Get a balcony. Bring a very long rope. Hire someone with a boat. They can bring about a dozen cases. When you get to your room, contact them, let them know where you are. When they get under your balcony, throw over the rope, they attach the cases, and haul them up. As for disposing of the cans, just toss them to the cabins next to you, above you, and under you. BTW, if you are a smoker, just dispose of the butts by putting them in the empty cans. Also, if you have any questions on saving deck chairs at the pool, let me know. I use that police yellow tape and just block off a whole row for the two of us. That also works great in all the entertainment venues.

john watson Posted June 2, 2018 #32 Share Posted June 2, 2018 Here is what I do. Get a balcony. Bring a very long rope. Hire someone with a boat. They can bring about a dozen cases. When you get to your room, contact them, let them know where you are. When they get under your balcony, throw over the rope, they attach the cases, and haul them up. This is funny. A guy I used to know who was in the merchant navy during the 1950's 60's, said when they go to places like Suez a lot of traders used to come alongside the ship to sell stuff off their boats. These people were not always trustworthy. After striking a bargain with a sailor it was decided the trader should tie the handle of the basket with the goods in and the sailor would lower the money. Once the money went down they hauled up the basket but the handle detached and the trader sped off in his boat with the money and the goods. Cruseforme Posted June 2, 2018 #33 Share Posted June 2, 2018 DH is a Marine, was in Vietnam in 1968. They had 20 cases of beer drop shipped to them via helicopter one night! Lots of favors owed for that one!

Bonnie J. Posted June 3, 2018 #35 Share Posted June 3, 2018 Don't drink beer but you can order a bucket of beer. for less than paying for each bottle/can. A friend used to take what he didn't drink & put in his cabin fridge. Then get one for later beer drinking. Ask cost of one bottle and bucket here. The yellow police tape is much more effective when used with a chalk outline of a body.
6rugrats Posted June 3, 2018 #37 Share Posted June 3, 2018 OP has bigger problems than trying to sneak beer on board. Per her other thread, she's trying to bring a minor child on a cruise without dad's permission. Good luck at check in.

Rare Von & John Posted June 4, 2018 #39 Share Posted June 4, 2018 I haven’t actually done this, I don’t drink beer from cans, only bottles. Let's see you've successfully combined alcohol smuggling & service animals - now just need to hit gratuities, MDR Dress Code & staws. Let's see if we can create the quinfecta... You should smuggle the beer (hidden in the 12 pack soda box), while being escorted on board by the service goat. Immediately head to guest services to remove the gratuities, while contemplating wearing formal wear for the first night's dinner in the MDR. Then At Sail Away, request double straws to drink the beer through.

ronandannette Posted June 6, 2018 #41 Share Posted June 6, 2018 If you cannot think of a way to sneak empty beer cans out of your stateroom, one at a time and discretely dispose of them in shipboard trash receptacles, I am certain that you lack sufficient intelligence to follow the simple instructions I was thinking of giving you on how to sneak a twelve-pack on board. Accordingly, my advice to you is to stay home. I wish this board had a "like" feature...:')
