Last night's dinner was not home-made as J.P. did, but it was super tasty and fun.  Dining outside on our screened porch.   Ribs from our local City BBQ.  A carry-out full rack of ribs, but I only had about half of this dinner, including green beans, Texas toast and mac/cheese.  Will have the rest of this enjoyable dinner in a few days. Nice to look forward to having more of these dining delights.

THANKS!  Enjoy!  Terry in Ohio

Our aging yellow lab had a "Great Adventure" yesterday afternoon . . . escaping, going down to the creek in our ravine area.  I search and search for him.  Fortunately, someone in the neighborhood found him stuck down there.  He's back home and safe!!  Good news!!

Here's Rudy, our yellow lab.  Nearly 14-years-old, he escaped and got down to our creek yesterday afternoon.:

Here are a couple more of the "Punishing Puns" that a good friend had sent last week.  I just packaged up the words into some graphics on my laptop.:

Poor Rudy, probably had cabin fever and needed to see something new. We went to Walmart at 8am today for an adventure (and kitty litter, bird seed) it's the first time I've been out of our subdivision since Mar 30. Some of the trees in town are budding out, we are at least a week behind. COS probably has leaves and green grass, we haven't been down there since Mar 11. Glad I can download books from our library. No food delivery this far from town so it's what I can come up with. I did a white zitti dish from the Food Network that I threw some frozen fake crab into, should be enough for 3 meals and enough calories to do a mountain climb--if we could do that.😉

Another week down, wonder how many more to come before freedom?

Your kind wishes and assumptions about our Rudy and his adventures were much appreciated.  I passed along these comments and Rudy responded accordingly.  Rudy is a fellow of few words. And, Rudy does not do email, nor text.

Below are a couple more "Punishing Puns"!!

Read this above posting from iMarco46 to my wife.  She laughed and nodded!!  I will try to behave properly in the weeks ahead in order to avoid such a "death caused by this virus"

Below do you remember the famed movie "The Shining" set in snowy Colorado starring Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall?

REDRUM

Spins is too smart and way ahead of me.  I had to look up "redrum" to find out her connection.  The Internet search yielded: "The boy in the Shining keeps saying "Radrum" while walking through the empty hotel."    And, that redeem is murder spelled backwards. I learned something today??!!

Thanks to all of you for your uplifting humor during this difficult time.  Stay safe,  Mary

Be careful, Mary, as to what you encourage.  There might be more groans!!  All are again properly warned.

THANKS!  Enjoy!  Terry in Ohio

An 80 year old woman had just married for the 4th time.  This time to an undertaker. A reporter was interviewing her

and asked if she would care to reflect on her husbands.  She thought awhile then said; her

1st husband was a banker; her

2nd husband was a circus ringmaster; her

3rd husband was a preacher.

The reporter said that was quite a variety. Was there any reasoning for that?

She thought for a moment and with a smile she said;

one for the money,

two for the show,

three to get ready, and

four to go.
