cb at sea Posted September 25, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2018 If there are 2 "formal" nights, it's always the 2nd one.

Wine-O Posted September 26, 2018 #9 Share Posted September 26, 2018 Lobster is typically only served on sailings departing from North America. We had lobster on our Freedom TA last year. I normally don't eat lobster on lobster night and go for the filet, but I can't recall any cruise, 7 nights or more, that they didn't serve lobster, except the Brilliance TA this month. As Ken mentions, typically there's no regular lobster night on sailings outside of NA. Was that Freedom TA Eastbound?

reallyitsmema Posted September 26, 2018 #12 Share Posted September 26, 2018 I was just on the aug 4th. 5 night sailing and it was the second to last night Very surprising to see "free" lobster served on the 5 night sailing. This was the fishermans platter with the spiny lobster tail and not an upcharge lobster you purchased?

lmp29 Posted September 26, 2018 #15 Share Posted September 26, 2018 We were on the Anthem from September 15th-September 20th and the lobster (not sure if it was "spiny" or not, I don't eat seafood) was served on night four. All the lobster eaters at our table ate three, and my nephew, at the next table, had seven servings. All said it was delicious.

Five night sailings usually don't have lobster, wonder if it is just Anthem going rogue as they do on other things or if other 5 night sailings are serving lobster too. Jewel and Liberty. From what I've read it was the 3 and 4 night cruises that don't do the lobster. Will let you know next month as we are on Brilliance for 5 nights - I just asked someone that came off Brilliance last week & they DID NOT have lobster on menu. They asked the Maitre D "who told us it was a change in the menu which for now is permanent" Edited September 26, 2018 by tOSUSteve
