Never have cruised during the Winter months

I've found that winters in those ports are quite similar to South Florida- it can be cool, even occasionally downright cold, it can also occasionally be quite hot, but most of the time it's a nice, seasonable shirtsleeves weather (60's and 70's). If you're from the north, the water is warm enough for swimming. If you're from the south, save it for the hot tub LOL!!!

We cruised last Thanksgiving day on the valor and it was cold (for us native Houstonians) that day, sweaters and jackets, but the next day, back to normal cruise wear. Once we hit cozumel that Saturday it was very very hot and sunny. Again that Sunday night coming back it was bone chilling cold on the decks at night but I think we were coming into a storm.

We did a Christmas cruise out of Houston a few years ago that stopped in Belize, Roatan and Cozumel. It was shorts in Belize and suimsuits (for snorkeling) in Roatan and swimsuits (for a beach day) in Cozumel.

You must be talking about the Bahamas as the Caribbean rarely, if ever, gets into the 60's. Anywhere below 18 degrees, Virgin Islands, it will be warm to hot. We lived on and off in St. Thomas and you can and will roast in January. Same with Cozumel and Tulum, it is hot.
