Price of a taxi fom Venice airport to cruise terminal

Does anyone know the approximate price in Euros for a cab from the airport to the cruise terminal in Venice? Do you know if the cabs are metered or do you have to agree on a fare? Thanks for your help.

taxifarefinder.com has an estimated metered daytime fare of about 37 Euro, but indicates it could be as low as 30 and as high as 63 depending on traffic. Fares are about 10% higher between 10pm and 6am

 

It is about a 15 km, 25 minute ride in the traffic assumed for the 37 fare.

If you have time take the Alilaguna "Blue Line" vaporetto to the cruise port. Takes about 50 minutes and is the last stop from the airport. You'll get to see a bunch of Venice and we loved the ride. Just follow the signs from the airport exit and its not to far a walk.

I concur, if you have the time take the Alilaguna. If not, take the bus to the Plazila Roma and then the people mover to the cruise port. JUst as timely as a taxi, same route, and much cheaper.

I agree WestLakeGirl, but the posters might have mentioned other options because the OP has started two previous threads asking this same question and posted on another related thread asking the same question within a week.

Always look for a "taxi dispatcher" stand or person at airports.....ask them what the fare is. That's a good starting point.
