I seem to be experiencing some writer's block... My post cruise depression is already beginning because I actually have to go to work right after I get home from my flight on Sunday... I don't really even want to go back home, and a job that I hate. I need to figure something out with my life and do something more enjoyable than I have been. Or, at least try to find a job making more money with an actual future... Anyway, that's what I need to deal with. That's why I like cruising. It's as far as I can get from my life back home. I don't have any responsibility except eating and drinking... I haven't watched one minute of TV or news or anything. For all I know, Congress might actually be doing their job. Maybe world hunger has been solved this week. Whatever the case, I wish that I could find something to make me happy more than the few weeks a year that I really get away from it all......

I swear you should do travel reviews somehow. I wish that someone on here that knew how to do that would hook you up! Because you are super great at it! I hope you can find a different job that you love that allows you to travel more.

We will be in Cozumel in November, I want to go to the bar where your tribute to your special lady is and raise a glass (or coconut) to both of you. What a touching story.

Thanks for such a detailed review. It's discouraging about the waiter in the MDR pushing drinks on you just because you have the Cheers package. Though I suspect we have different views on T, I plan on wearing shirts too when I go on my cruise in January. I'll be interested also by the reactions one way or the other.

Ravi cut off the tip of a cigar and burned it on a plate. Covered it for the smoke infusion. Patron reposado and peach schnapps...

 

Smokey, kind of like a nice scotch...

Last Guy's burger of the sailing... There is no way I'm going to subject myself to one more night of the pushy waiter in the MDR... Will probably have to supplement this with some pizza later on...

Mezcalitos, the first place you come to on the East side... The pink shirt it closer to the beach, and the new one is over the bar furthest from the beach... Thanks for following...

Two of my vacation heros... (***That's an NCL thing) Maureen and Ravi at Alchemy Bar... My cruise would have been much less "Magical" without them...

 

 

Maureen cooked me up a classic fresh lime margarita, with Roca Patron, Patron citronage, and fresh lime juice... My taste buds are back in 'ol Mexico...

Great review, I have had some jobs that I loved and some not so much, however, now being retired everyday is Sat. and when it is Sat, it's like a bonus and now I live to cruise. Wish you the best.

Another off the menu, one of a kind, never ever made before creations... First, he soaked basil and camphor (brought from his home country) in water...

 

 

Then strained and chilled with ice. Tequila that he personally purchased in Cozumel. (Not the property of Carnival corporation whatsoever) It was then introduced to a martini glass, and garnished with fresh bruised basil... I give to you a drink that no one on the face of the planet has ever had until now, ever...

 

He calls it Elements of Life...
