I enjoyed your review Sid, and especially because it is the Magic. I have wanted to sail that ship for a while now, but cannot cruise/or travel at this time, due to family commitments, cant be away from home now for even a day. but I know the day will come, that I can go again, but it will be a bit of a time from now. That is fine. I have had lots of good travels, and now need to take care of my parents, and it is they who gave me the travel, cruise and adventure spirit, so I am happy to be here and care for them now when they need me.

 

In the mean time, I love to read your reviews, and live (and drink) vicariously LOL, through yours and others here.

 

Till your next review ( regardless of line), I wish you happy travels.:)

Oh, my! I was truly enjoying "our" cruise (next time-- good as your reporting is-- I'd like to be with you in person!) until that picture of the buffet offerings tonight. Mercy.

Possibly my final act of the evening... Remember, even though I haven't come close to my "15 drink limit" these tequila drinks contain an average of two to three shots each. The long week of hard drinking, and the thought of having to go to work tomorrow are beginning to catch up with me...

 

Patron reposado with Drambuie, and some other stuff...

Ok -I have really enjoyed your review and am terribly sad that it is coming to an end as well. It is very generous of you to take time to post for us to follow along. Some of your posts have been hilarious. So, I've been wondering throughout the entire review - how do you not weigh 1,000 pounds?

I'm a man of very few achievements, but apparently I've reached some sort of elite drinker status at the Alchemy Bar... A couple of days ago, they stopped even asking for my card anymore. Now, they don't even bring me the receipt to sign. They know that I always tip in cash, so the receipt is merely functionary... My mother would be so proud...

My last cruise I gained two pounds. I expect maybe four pounds this week...

Another off the menu, one of a kind, never ever made before creations... First, he soaked basil and camphor (brought from his home country) in water...

Then strained and chilled with ice. Tequila that he personally purchased in Cozumel. (Not the property of Carnival corporation whatsoever) It was then introduced to a martini glass, and garnished with fresh bruised basil... I give to you a drink that no one on the face of the planet has ever had until now, ever...
