Very Dumb question, but how do I find my friends?

I’m totally lost using this new forum. How can I find the friends I follow? Total frustration! Thank you anyone that can help me.

Click on your name in the top right, then choose "Mange Followed Content".  It's there on the left side.

 

That's if it still exists.  I don't follow anyone, so no idea if that is still functional.

Not only are my friends that I follow missing, I can't figure out how to add them back.  Has the Follow/Friends feature been removed?

Don't feel too bad. All of my subscribed forums disappeared as well. I freaking hate this new site.

My subscribed forums were there but it took a while to find them.  They hid them under “Managed Followed Content”.  I’m on my I-Pad so I finally found it in my profile.  It’s different on my computer.  The forums are going to take some getting use to for sure!  

 

 

Still hoping a moderator will comment on my question.

Nope. I had already looked there. I had to manually locate the roll calls and then "follow" them again.

That is not you nor is it the bartender I had the last time I was on the Rowboat! Actually this is a picture of the absolute best bartender I have ever had on a Princess cruise. His name is Chris and the woman in the picture is his manager Anne Marie. I sent extra email to Princess regarding this bartender.

For an individual post at the very top of the post title you'll see "Follow". Click on it. 

For a forum, who knows?

Forums are the same way if they have the "Follow".  When you click on "Follow" there is a drop down so you can make selections of how you want to be notified.  You can UNFOLLOW by clicking on the "Following"

What happened to the ability of changing a font color? 

It would be nice to highlight a portion of a specific post I'm quoting. 

It seems to be gone although I see some posts in color.

The ability to change font colors (and sizes) is readily available in the "desktop" view of the site.

 

On the other hand, in the normal "phone" view of the site, the menu selections are quite limited with no font color or size options.

 

However if you rotate your phone, you may find the menu choices expand like this, similar to the "desktop" view, with font color and size options available.

Thanks for the explanation. I'm using a pc & don't see the desktop view.

I'll have to look around & see how to change it.

As far as I know, which forum view you get on any particular device is set "auto-magically" for you. Since you are on a PC, the only thing that comes to my mind immediately is that this could be a matter of your screen resolution or how you have your browser window sized.

 

If I lower my screen resolution to something low for a PC monitor these days such as 1024x768, and then when I start a reply (rather than creating a new topic), I no longer see the menu options for font color or size.

 

Also even in a higher screen resolution, when I narrow the browser window size substantially, the menu options for font color and size disappear.

When I use Edge I get the full menu at the top but with Chrome I only get an abbreviated menu. Strange.

CC Help Jenn, an Senior Community Support Specialist answered our question on a different thread.   "It's not a feature that was included in this platform."  

 

I guess we got our answer but can't say as I like it.  I guess I'll have to make a spread sheet!
