Said it was not part of their core business. Boat arrived early, 5.15. Luckily no big horn noises to wake me up.

If you look carefully , Golden is at Station Pier on the middle , right hand side of the screen grab. Looks like you have scored a great day for sailaway
possum52 Posted October 25, 2018 #35 Share Posted October 25, 2018 Disappointing the webcam is not available any more. I used to look at it whenever cruise ships are at Station Pier. Certainly is a beautiful day in Melbourne, cool but nice in the sun. Leigh

Sad I won't get to sail on her again before she leaves Princess. Mum and I were on that one too. It was so cool to have the welcome banners 🙂

Thorpe Posted October 25, 2018 #44 Share Posted October 25, 2018 I got off her this morning and it was a very slow trip from Sydney! Had fun but it felt a bit disorganised in parts on board. Probably because of the short trip after the long one across the Pacific and the change of some crew. It was my 2nd trip on her but after getting off the Majestic a few ago it highlights that in some parts she needs a bit of love and care but nothing to complain about. I was in a window suite and was interested to see that P&O are selling these as 5 bed family cabins when she heads over. Will be interesting to see where the 5th berth is. Rare MicCanberra Posted October 26, 2018 #48 Share Posted October 26, 2018 Yeah, I like lots of port days when visiting areas/ regions I haven't been to before but for the local / South Pacific cruises, sea days are great.
