NC&KY Posted November 24, 2018 #1 Share Posted November 24, 2018 Bonnie or anyone else "in the know," what is the schedule for removing the casinos from Quest and Journey?
Malcolm142 Posted November 24, 2018 #2 Share Posted November 24, 2018 Re The Quest There is a gap in her schedule from 22/3/19 to 29/3/19 She gets into Singapore on 22nd and next cruise does not depart from there until 29th There are plenty of shipyards there that could carry out the work
crinkly cruiser Posted November 30, 2018 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2018 It could also be a private charter between those dates.
lahore Posted December 23, 2018 #4 Share Posted December 23, 2018 As far as I know she is in dry dock those dates, but I know nothing about what is scheduled to happen.
mnocket Posted December 23, 2018 #5 Share Posted December 23, 2018 It's funny.... regardless of cruise line or ship we tend to make more friends in the casino than anywhere else on the ship. I will be sorry to them go.
excitedofharpenden Posted December 23, 2018 #6 Share Posted December 23, 2018 The conversion will take place in dry dock in Singapore 22nd March 2019. Had it confirmed here on Pursuit. Phil 1
NC&KY Posted December 23, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted December 23, 2018 Awesome, thanks for inquiring, Phil. I assumed it would be gone by the time we're next on her in February of 2020, but it's nice to have confirmation.
excitedofharpenden Posted December 23, 2018 #8 Share Posted December 23, 2018 I am really enjoying the Den on Pursuit. I know some lament the lack of a casino and indeed a few guests onboard have commented, but when you look at how often it is actually open (this cruise for a start has overnights and late stays) it makes perfect sense to use the space more effectively. Having future cruise and shorex there I was dubious about, but I really like it. Phil
doubled Posted December 24, 2018 #9 Share Posted December 24, 2018 Sorry to see casinos gone 😭 but will try to make the best of it. We have 7 sea days on upcoming Quest cruise. Art

I won’t miss the casino, but it’s still nice to hear that the space works well in its new design.
Rare uktog Posted December 24, 2018 #11 Share Posted December 24, 2018 Yes the Den is an excellent use of the space. When they have the right piano player in there it is a perfect spot each evening. And it’s lovely to see how busy it is during the day with various groups (both organised and spontaneous) 1
