Laundry is getting quicker and quicker.  Went in last night, back just after lunch today.

I noticed this morning that the waste paper basket has a much larger recycling section - almost half the receptacle.  We certainly get lots of paper to add to it!

You did it!  You’ll have to teach me how to delete  the pix from a quote!

POA1 to the rescue.  I asked and he actually did an instruction thread.

You're using your ipad, right?  Just highlight what you want to quote and a little "quick quote" box comes up.  Hit that and the only thing quoted is what you highlighted.

I couldn't remove pics with the Ipad, if I did, I lost the entire quote.  This works beautifully.

At least now, I won't clutter up your thread 😉

Here is the link to POA1's excellent explanation on how to do it for you or anyone else who wants to avoid quoting a bunch of photos -

Have fun on board!  It certainly sounds like you are 😄

Thank you Copper!

A few additional Dutch Cafe pix -

Like the Dutch village! Looks like you found the poffertjes and flensjes but you can keep the zoute haring (salted and raw herring). Never developed a taste for that one. How did you like the La Trappe beer? The brewery used to be run by monks in the south of Holland

Thank You! I live in Manhattan and every Sunday morning we go out for

bzgels, cream cheese, and sometimes lox. So I won’t have to see the ship

doctor with withdrawal symptoms next month when onboard. I hope that they have a good toaster for the bagels. Are bagels and lox on the MDR breakfast menu? Perchance a lox omelette?

Food porn alert!

Daily steak offering in MDR. Comes with mashed potatoes, green beans and cauliflower.

Dessert is a double chocolate tart thing. Delish and totally rich!

So pink doesn't count?  That was what I was worrying about!

Maybe it does!  Extract from Captain Albert's blog for December 10th.....

For the first 48 hrs.it looks as if we have good smooth seas with swell less than 10 feet. But the computer model forecasts another storm being generated at Cape Hatteras. That storm will not reach us but with the forecast track, we might just skirt the 14 feet swell boundary and that we could feel. But it will all depend on the angle of the waves to how the stabilizers can deal with it.

Heads up to all our great friends on board that are kindly posting to this thread:

It appears CC is doing another update on Saturday at 2 AM ET.  So, CC might not be available to you early in the morning on Saturday.

Just hoping that this update is not as devastating as the "new and improved forum" upload was 😉

CD Ross mentioned the motion of the ocean this morning.  We really don’t feel it amidships, but up here in our room on the eleventh floor, it is a little more obvious!
