I am diamond and in June, I will take a cruise with my new boyfriend. It will be his 1 st cruise. I have already registered him with crown and anchor.

Will he also have 4 drink coupons ! Also, we are actually on a b2b.

So technically, cruise 1 and 2 :))

You have to link your accounts.  And to link them, both have to have the same mailing address.

It does not mean he actually has be to living at your address.

Spoke with C&A yesterday. They refer to linked points as Relationship Points. Apparently I have 653 of those. 😉😁

I had posted about this a couple of months ago and the consensus as it applies to:

Wife has 78 points (2 below Diamond)

I have fewer (probably mid-40s) but I sail as Emerald thanks to her.

I have more vacation time and thought about taking the cheapest solo cruise I could find, both to burn off my days and to add a few points to my C&A.

The result would be that my points would increase to about 50, my wife's wouldn't change and we would remain at Emerald.

No free drinks yet!

Or take a cruise together. She gets the points she needs to become diamond at the end of the cruise and so do you (diamond) and you also earn C&A points.

Correct.  But I was looking to burn PTO days she didn't have, so I looked at solo (which wouldn't work).

You should cover for her at work, and let her take the solo cruise ... problem solved. 😉😄

Better to send HER on a cheap solo cruise. 😄 😄

I agree, but she doesn't have as much PTO left and she doesn't want to do interior cabins even for a 4 day trip.

First world problem. 😄

Explain that her roughing it will result in 8 free drinks per day on your next cruise together. 😄

  • 10 months later...

sorry to resurrect this but I have a burning question.

I am Diamond, have more points than my spouse, and we normally sail together but on our next cruise, we both have separate cabins with casino certificates. Will he have Diamond status on that cruise or does he need to be a passenger on my cabin?

Nothing changes, he still has Diamond status.
