Symphony of the Seas -Junior Suites ?

Does anyone know if junior suites only have balconies facing water or do they have ones facing boardwalk?

 

I tried looking on the deck plans and couldn't tell.

Our JS on Symphony. Excellent room. My only niggle was that the vase and lamp on the higher level of the dresser were fixed so you didn’t have a lot of surface space.

All Junior Suites face the water - on all Royal ships.

It's for safety reasons.

Forgot to note that we were offered dining in Coastal Kitchen every night which was a nice alternative to the MDR.

I appreciate that... but there is a whole wall where they could have put extended counter tops to use.  

With the kettle, tray, vase and lamp on the upper unit it leaves no room for anything else.

Curious, did they offer you Coastal Kitchen once you got onboard?  If so, how?  I see no where to book it prior to boarding.  We have a JS on the 2/2/19 sail date.

Once you are on board  you can go to the host stand at Coastal Kitchen on deck 17 aft elevators to make your dinner reservations. There will be someone there on boarding day from noon-1:30 as Coastal Kitchen is open for lunch for cruisers in Grande Suites and larger and Pinnacle members. If you board after they are closed they will reopen for dinner at 5:30. You may be able to make your Coastal Kitchen dinner reservations for the entire cruise.
