I’m going on escape on February 29th. Mimosas are my favorite and that’s what I did with my free bottle the last time. If anybody doesn’t want there’s, send them my way. They are good when mixed with ok. (Not straight)

I am sure you meant OJ and not OK - OK is something you do shaking the heck out of the bottle before popping the cork !

Have a good spraycation  - - - LOL !

For those of us who don't drink, an alternative would be nice.  You can ask for a non-alcoholic replacement (can't drink that either).  Brought it home a couple of times, usually just leave it for the steward.  I suggested a 6pack of Pepsi or water but nooooooo.

IMHO THIS IS NOT FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.

Once given it cannot be bartered or substituted for any "drinkable item" on board.

When taken home no one wishes to open it. The label itself REEKS of a bargain basement,

cut rate low end product.

This product is beneath NCL and should be abandoned.

I almost think NCL is laughing at us. Someone thinks we are so desperate for a free bottle of booze that we are happy to get the cheapest junk they can find as a "gift". I handed my last bottle around the balcony divider to the young newlyweds next door. I didn't see them again to see if they enjoyed it.

I was just looking at the rewards for bronze latitudes members. Does anyone know what kind of sparkling wine will be provided and is there a non-alcoholic version available?

It is below the quality of wine that Carnival offers as their "free bottle" in the steakhouse.  Given that Carnival's steakhouses are about the same level as Western Sizzler, I'll leave it to you to determine if it is potable or not.

The bottle they give use at the start isn't to my taste so what I do is gather up all the ones I win in the casino with this and give them to anybody with a wine glass in the casino on the last night. Last trip I handed out 6 bottles and only 1 person said thanks but no thanks :).

That's because the people on this thread are soooo very classy as opposed to the actual people on an actual cruise .

I look at it as "a gift is a gift" (as in, free). I've had super expensive, moderately expensive and NCL-type champagne/sparkling wine. I enjoy it all. Put it in OJ if your palate is more sensitive. Or just don't drink it. Not a big deal to me one way or another! I guess when it comes to freebies, I'm just pretty easy to please, lol.

We get ours, keep it and try to give it away - bring to the Meet & Greet as free door prizes or plain giveways (newbies without Latitude status.) and not bother the crew/room steward or bartender to exchange it for something equivalent.  At one of the larger M&G gathering, we had like 5 or 6 "unwanted" bottles donated & they've taken.

One thing for sure, make sure it is not "return to inventory" and recycled again for the next sailing ... opened safely inside the cabin, near the wash basin/drain.  Emptied & consumed.

The trick is to have 3 shots of tequila before opening that bottle 😉 & yes, you can get a non-alcoholic option.  Sparkling Cider I believe.

Have a great cruise 😀

I didn't even think to ask. Our grandson love sparkling cider. Thanks will ask in June.
