Those kangaroos are tough boxers, so perhaps “Kangadile”...

I am sure it is but we got meet one person who does it for a living. He was a naturalist from Cairns who was a lecturer and a naturalist escort on tours on a cruise we took from Sydney to Singapore (not Oceania). One of the things he does is to capture and relocate crocks from where they shouldn’t be to where they belong. You’d never know that he does that just by looking at him and talking to him.

I sent a picture of last nights menu to my daughters and one of them saw "Moreton Bays Buggs Mac & Cheese" and asked me if they put bugs (insects, to us) into the mac & cheese!  She said that if they eat crocodiles and kangaroos then they might also put bugs into the mac & cheese.  I googled what they are in Australia and was glad to find out that it's a lobster-like creature, and not insects.  😉

Reef Pilot Captain Glenn Robinson’s lecture on shipping and pilotage within the Great Barrier Reef was fascinating, and well-attended...as was the earlier lecture by Adam Tanner, on the British Empire, convict transport, and the colonization of Australia...one of many he will enrich us with over the segment.😎

I don't eat mac & cheese, but I do eat seafood.  If they have them separately then I'll definitely try one...thanks for sharing that!

Never heard of a bug with Mac and Cheese 🤷🏼‍♀️- not sure why they served it that way to you. 🥴 Bugs are usually barbecued and served with salad and a great glass of white wine ! Enjoy Asia !

Thanks for the live postings.  I'm currently targeting ATW2025...yeah, way out there so hoping for iteniary like 2021.

 

Question for the conversion about free 70 or so excursion.  What are those free excursions like...only bus tours or activities from the same list as excursion that you'd pay?  Pictures of some of those excursions would be highly appreciated.

Can be any of the regular ship tours that are offered up to a value of $199 but excluding ones designated "OE", "OS" or any other special tour. After each of us booked our 36 (we got a total of 72), any others were 25% off. So far these ship tours have been good. They do offer a few "panoramic" tours (the buzz word for "stay-on-the-bus" tour), but most are not. There will be a description of the tour when you book it.

Bob, I know that last time I asked you this question you replied that exactly now “I am sitting in my chair in my cabin” (or something like that).

However, not everyone has your itinerary at their fingertips so IMO, rather than saying “Alongside” it would be helpful if you added just two more words - like “Alongside in Darwin” (or wherever you are).
