Chic Nights on Edge

Vtcruising said that they switched the first Chic on her Western cruise from 2nd to 3rd night but that was because 2nd day was Key West and 3rd was a sea day.

 

Chic nights do not apply in Luminae, Blu or the Specialties.

That is correct,  dress code guidance does not apply in those venues, but many follow it anyhow ...esp if going to be out and about the ship...

 

..We'll be in BLU and hoping to be very Chic, esp on my birthday!

Thank you both.  I figured the menus in Luminae might be more fancy on a chic night than other nights.

I think lobster is usually served night 6 in Luminae and Blu, and in the MDRs, someone correct me if I am wrong.

Doesn't apply out and about the ship either, only the MDRs.   Anyway, Happy Birthday

On our Edge sailing two weeks ago, I actually thought passengers were generally more dressed up than the past couple of years.  I don't typically take photos of how others are dressed but here is a shot of our daughter and son-in-law on the first chic night and I'd say they were dressed typical of the overall ship.  There were some kilts & tuxes, too.  I saw very few jeans on chic night and I'd say that folks were even dressier on the second chic night.
