True fixed Dining time

Does anyone know the real fixed dining times on the Crown now she is in the Caribbean. personliser is saying 5pm and 7.15 pm

That is correct.  We had 5pm traditional dining on the Crown in the Botticelli Dining Room and we loved it!  There were empty tables but the 7:15pm traditional dining was packed!  (we stuck our noses in several times just to see).  We tried the any time dining on the Emerald and Royal Princess and that's just not for us.

We’ve heard that on some ships the actual dining time for late traditional has been 7:45.  We were hoping that was the case for the Caribbean Princess because we just signed up for that cruise and are on the waiting list for late traditional and we’re hoping if the actual time was 7:45 that some passengers might change to Anytime.  In the meanwhile we’re listed for Anytime.  5:00 would never work for us.

On the Crown over Christmas the traditional dining times were 5:00 and 7:15.  That was well synched with the theater shows at 7:15 and 9:15.

We were on the CB in November and the second seating TD was at 7:45 pm although when we signed up before the cruise it was advertised as 7:15.  We will find out on the Sapphire in a few months when their second seating TD time actually is.

So for once it seems the times you reserve are the actual same times once onboard

On CB over Christmas, our original confirmed 6pm dining was changed to 5pm which we then changed to 7:15 but once onboard it was 7:45. We visited the Maitr'd and had it changed to 5:30pm.

He said that head office is aware that the new dining times have p'ssd off many guest and that they will probably change it again.

Just got off the Caribbean Princess and the 2nd Traditional Dining was at 7:45 pm.  Now if we could only get the "few" from wearing their hats in the DR, wouldn't that be nice!
