Formal tshirts would be OK but I really don't want to see hairy armpits while I'm enjoying my caviar and lobster so, I'm sorry, but singlets will have to be banned. Depending on the barista, it can vary very significantly between decent to dreadful - More varied casual food options instead of the usual burger/pizza/hot dog options. As mentioned, meat pies, lamingtons, sausage sizzles. - Limit the number of ridiculous fancy shops. Why are they taking up valuable cafe/sitting space? Exactly what percentage of a cruise ship's passenger list on any given cruise are shopping for expensive clothes and handbags and jewelry etc every day that would require dedicated shopping space on a ship instead of going shopping in ports? - Well appointed kids clubs with flexible / extended hours What would *I* want to see in a cruise line? - No Casino - More areas with comfortable, large, well lit tables for socialising or playing board/card games A Blast from the past Monkey Bar Oriana 1 Edited February 1, 2019 by VK3DQ

I was going to say the range of shops most small towns had back in the 60s, the corner store (lollies and milkshakes) fish and chip shop, pie shop, maybe a Chinese or if you town was fancy even a pizza place. then a pub, with some real beer and a lounge so the Shielas can let us blokes get on with men’s stuff. I was thinking about that. CUB have tank bars now where they deliver directly into the tank.... something like that would be awesome. Not sure how it would go on a cruise ship though. GUT2407 Posted February 2, 2019 #39 Share Posted February 2, 2019 Size wise I’d like smaller, maybe under 1000 Pax, but bigger cabins, so maybe the size ship that would carry 1500 but cabins 50% bigger.

reedy8 Posted March 4, 2019 #48 Share Posted March 4, 2019 Definately Australia trained baristas and yes to a good dim sum/yum cha at least once in the cruise. I like a full promenade deck too, and more over the top cruises in spring/autumn to take advantage of the better weather conditions and so we over here in the west get more options. As he said they keep a jar on board in case any Australians need a fix whilst in the Caribbean or the Med.
