With stupid flights here, we also fly in 2 or 3 days early and stay an extra day.  Plus we have to stay at an airport hotel before we fly out and one when we get home before we start driving home.

I'm one who does, depending upon the itinerary and HAL's price.  On open jaw flights internationally, HAL's fares beat anything that I ever find on my own.  Once in awhile, my TA will find a better price, but rarely.

 

For my flights this Summer to/from Vancouver for a couple of Alaska cruises, HAL's prices were better than I was finding.
