It is a term that covers more than physically running but are running late

On a good day I could manage a pier waddle, that’d give the watchers something to laugh at.

And right on cue, here is that poster.

And, this time he has even copied another person's post and doctored it by changing the word "will" to "MAY" to support his argument. Isn't it unethical to quote a comment by another person and change the words to make it mean something they did not actually say? 🙄

I think it was clear that the poster changed the original post.  The changed word was in a different color and FTFY means "Fixed That For You" indicating that they changed a post.

Regardless of what was said, I don't think there was a netiquette breach in how it was stated.

I’ll never be a pier runner, struggle to Evan walk now days, let alone run.

I would be a pier hobbler/gasper!

That doesn’t keep me from booking private excursions, though.

Costa Rican TV Host and New Husband Are the Couple Left Stranded as Cruise Ship Sailed Away

Interesting. Watching that video (albeit, not as zoomed in as I'd like), it almost appears as if the husband is holding a passport or passports in his hand. Could it be that the port agent already had handed them off as they arrived (too late)?

Most likely, since the ship was pulling away, the passports, if they were still onboard the ship, would have been removed to the port agent by then.
