Sometime yes but sometimes no. I had two bids this past summer that were "pending" and locked for a long time before being switched to "not upgraded". Hope you are one of the lucky ones.

No - it just means you placed a bid and no decision has been made.

General Comments interestingly, there are still suites left in the lower categories.  Wondering if they take your highest bid.  I really wanted the Aqua sky suite as I would have liked access to the spa rooms and Blu (which is why I booked Aqua originally).  But I am still thrilled with the extra space and a dedicated butler😄.

I've never done a move up because I pick my cabin and am generally very happy with my choice, but we've never done Blu, so I thought I'd put in a "weak" bid and if it's accepted then great! I am surprised that they're sending out offers as the cruise was sold out for the longest time. But now that it's past Final Payment, I'm guessing they have rooms to fill.

I put in a bid for Aqua Class Sky Suite. If we get it at that price, what a bargain! If not, we are happy with our current room. I may consider putting in a sky suite bid at slightly over minimum but not sure that access to Luminae justifies the cost for us. I don't think we would use the other suite class beneitson the Reflection.

Greetings fellow Ottawan!  Thanks for sharing - being informed of a successful "MoveUp" six weeks before cruise date is about the earliest I've seen.  It looks like you bid well above the minimum - to go from the pricier Aqua Class to Sky Suite, the minimum is typically about CAD $90/day and you paid CAD $175/day.  What was your minimum?  Regardless, you're right, you got a Sky Suite (and all its benefits) for far less than it would have cost up-front.

Hello neighbour! Yes it was very early. For my other successful.bid, I was notified about 11 days prior to the cruise. I believe that the minimum bid was $1475 or $1495. Figured it was worth a somewhat higher bid given the good deal I had received on the original stateroom fare.
