Not each day....its added all at one time on the 2nd day (usually).   Just a 1 time charge for all days together.

Depending on the length of the cruise. They will add them all at once toward the end of the cruise.

Gee, there were 3 contradictory answers. Our experience is that they were added each day.

All at once later in the cruise. Feels like night 5 of a 7 day cruise is when I see the line build at guest services.

This has been my experience on my past few cruises too.

Carnival definitely does not add them on a daily basis, such as done by RCCL, as has been stated in previous posts.  Based on my experience it has been later in the cruise just not certain which day for sure.

You can also opt to have them removed from your account should you see fit.

Sometimes if you prepay you can get cabin credits for doing so.

Just money added to your cabin account.

I think they are talking about OBC--On board credit --people can get that as a booking bonus amount, early saver credits etc.   Its an amount that is already on your sign and sail as a credit when you board.

Carnival does not do a daily tip added each day.   It is all at one time and has varied from being added on the 2nd day to the 2nd to last day of the cruise.

This I understand. I also understand that if you pre-pay gratuities they show up as a credit to your OB account.

If guests have not pre-paid their gratuities, the recommended, per person, amount will be posted to their Sail & Sign account on the second to last day of the cruise. Should a guest not be satisfied with the service they receive, they can contact the Guest Services desk while on board. This will allow us to address their concerns in a timely and appropriate fashion. At the discretion of the guest, gratuities may be adjusted after they have been posted on the guest's account, while on board. Gratuities, as posted on a guest's Sail & Sign account, will be considered final after a guest disembarks and no changes will be made after the cruise.
