theduffys Posted July 25, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2019 In Nov. we will be flying on Viking air booked tickets, DUl to Munich to Barcelona. Only have 70 min. Layover in Munich. Will this be enough time. Worried about immigration and international to domestic terminals. Flying in on United and then switch to Lufthansa. This really has me stressed. CruiserBruce Posted July 25, 2019 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2019 70 minutes is fine. MUC is a relatively small, and very user friendly airport. We have a 75 minute connection, VCE-MUC-SFO next June, and am comfortable with it.

I can't think of any airport with DUI code, or even a local abbreviation of DUI (kinda like how Kansas City is officially MCI, but everyone in town calls it KCI). I'm stumped. hallasm Posted July 25, 2019 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2019 Don’t worry - MUC is an easy airport for transfer - don’t stress! your luggage will be checked through to BCN so customs in BCN. Passport/ immigration and probably through security check.
Marrascaud Posted July 25, 2019 #7 Share Posted July 25, 2019 If "DUI" is a US airport, there shoud be no security check when connecting in Munich, as normally, flights from the US are considered "clean"

I looked it up at this website, which is quite good for a bunch of info on airlines and airports. And not just "airline codes". www.airlinecodes.co.uk/
