I haven't been on Dream so can't comment on that. I am booked to go on Paradise, I like that it is a smaller ship. Went on Valor a few years ago, and I didn't care for it.

So if I had to pick between Dream and Paradise I would go for the smaller ship.

You didn't mention where any of the sailings are to. So just based on the ships, I'd go with the larger/newer ship first, to the oldest, smallest ship last. With the choices you gave, that would be 1. Dream 2. Valor then 3. Paradise. The Dream compared to the Paradise is a world of difference.

For the convenience of the port you're sailing out of, I like Galveston.

For the ship I'd also vote for the Dream (I've sailed Magic & Breeze, her sister ships and loved them).

If visiting the port was important, I'd pick Nola for fun things to do, Galveston for laying on a beach and vegging.

So it sounds like none of us are really helping you decide, because we either disagree with each other or we're waffling, like me!!!

Dream--you would have fun loving and great Texans on board!

We are booked on the Paradise this month, our 7th cruise on this particular ship and our 50th cruise overall. Tampa has the best embarkation and debarkation with friendly and efficient ground crew. We live 45 minutes from the Port of Tampa, so we prefer to cruise out of there instead of having to drive to other FL ports whenever possible. We have also sailed on the Valor, but not the Dream. Loved the Valor. It's hard to compare the Paradise and the Valor because they are different classes of ships with the Valor being newer and more bells and whistles, if that is important to you. We like the Paradise because it is smaller and I love the casino - spend all my time there whenever it's open. Paradise has Guy's Burger Joint and the Blue Iguana Cantina and a great crew. Good luck on your choice and enjoy whichever one you select.
