at least neither one will have to pay $$$$ for an onboard haircut...My husband did not cut for 4 months and we all were surprised at his curls....he cut it once we returned home....many ladies brought their own "products" to have the salon use while we were on board!!  Glad that mine is just silver fox like :)!!

No.....I was on the Sky...March 14 sailing...(the one that wound up getting worldwide media coverage)

So then if you have been to Ushuaia, as evidenced by that spectacular sunrise photo with caption, it must have been another cruise line.

Ah...Bergen....another quite interesting port!  Would have liked to spend a bit more time there. Our Northern Lights cruise back in March left out of Bergen.

Ah, then do the Midnight Sun cruise and spend a couple days prior in Bergen.  Much better weather.

This photo was taken at the beginning of the cruise.  The gentleman on the right is doing the entire cruise.  The one with the shorter hair is my husband.  He won’t cruise for more than four weeks.

Ah, I love a ponytail on a man.  My hubby had even thicker hair then the man on the right when he was in his 20's.  He still has a ponytail bit, but alas, quite a bit thinner and shorter.

Actually, we will fly into Oslo, spend a couple of days, take the scenic train, and then board the ship in Bergen. This will be the “British Isles” sailing on The Jupiter-Jeannette😌

Good point! We're looking at 3 Ocean cruises also - Jan. '21 (B2B) inaugural sailing on the Venus followed by Iberian Explorer, then might use our compensation vouchers in '21 as well.

We are already  booked on The Venus Inaugeral Cruise too. Thought it would be something different.

it is amazing to me that we have these exact same shots from last January.  I especially like the forked glacier.  You have a much more glorious day than we did, though.  I’d love to do this segment again!  Happy Thanksgiving.  We are snowbound.  6-8 inches of snow in the last 12 hours.  Drifts about 18 inches.  And it’s still snowing until tomorrow afternoon.  Give me the balmy weather of Ushuaia!

I suspect we're talking about two different cruises. The one I'm referring to is a non-public sailing. 1/18/21 Rome to Barcelona. The March Sky guests were extended an invitation on it from Mr. Hagen following the 3/23 incident. I assume, then, that you're booked on the 1/26 Iberian Explorer (Barcelona to London)? That could probably be considered as the "inaugural sailing". Sorry for any confusion. What I tend to think of as the inaugural trip is the one the Sky guests were offered.

Captain just announced we are docking early in Punta Arenas. This afternoon instead of tomorrow. We have had lots of sea days. Beautiful scenery but time for a port stop.😎

Great for you!  Was wondering why the ships position was nearing punta arenas so early this afternoon.  You have been scenic cruising for 4 days now.  Gorgeous.  Up and back in 2 fjords...marvelous.  slowly, slowly passing glaciers.  So lucky.
