We get different offers, these prices look quite expensive compared to some of the Early Saver fares on offer here.

Even factoring in the free gratuities perk for this US sale, I'm seeing some UK Cunard fares that are looking significantly better than the US sale fares. For this example, I've picked a Norway cruise from Southampton so that we don't have to factor any UK included flights into the equation.

 

This pricing is per person double occupancy for a BZ sheltered balcony on QM2's 7-night Norway cruise departing 28 Aug 2020.

 

UK Cunard Fare = £1399 = $1707 (using £1.00 = $1.22) - $75 OBS = $1632

US Sale Fare = $1799 +  $106 Taxes - $81 Free Gratuities = $1824

 

Of course the relatively low exchange rate of the UK pound versus the US dollar at the moment goes a long way to explaining these fare differences.

I ran BF pricing to compare with our 2019 rate - it's good but not great, and we'll be receiving a large amount of onboard credit in 2019 (enough they we really will have to make a plan for it).

Don't read too much into this. That's standard boilerplate wording in the terms and conditions on just about every promotion in the US. I think what they mean is that the single supplement applies to the fares shown for a single passenger booking a double occupancy cabin.

Current pricing on M021 in July in a BZ balcony is the same as this promotion. Waiting to book will get the gratuities and the lower deposit.

I'm seeing the same thing on the dozen or so voyages I've looked at. Current fares on the US website already seem to be set to what's listed for the "Three for All" promotion unless those voyages are also on the current "Labor Day Sale" promotion. And some of the fares for the "Labor Day Sale" are higher than they apparently will be for the "Three for All" promotion.

 

One gotcha with voyage M021 (which I've also been looking at) is that category BZ is sold out. The site lists Britannia Balcony fares from $1559 (the fare for an obstructed view balcony), so that would be the fare for a "free upgrade" to BZ. But the cheapest sheltered balcony you can actually book today on voyage M021 using the Cunard US website is a BY for $1709.

I should have said M021D, which is Southampton round trip to the Norwegian fjords via Hamburg. That bookable itinerary still has BZ available. We're booked for the westbound transatlantic following and currently could get the same BZ stateroom for the Norway trip.

 

Cunard shuffles inventory around since at any time the ship holds passengers on several numbered itineraries and each itinerary has separate inventory. BZ could reappear on your crossing at any time.
